i know this may not help you with your birth partner but have you had a look at this site https://www.netmums.co.uk or com its a fab site. ive met loads of people through this site as i found that after i had my daughter my friends seamed to be on a different path to me.

my cold has finally gone wohooo.
ive got my anti d on the 15th and a check up to get physio sorted on my back they moved it forward after i spoke to my mw she rang up and basically told them i cudnt wait till i was 34 weeks before i was seen again.shes sorted it so i can have my bloods taken and my anti d given at the same time so i dont have to go back up again on the friday.
i reall like my mw shes down to earth and will do anything to help shes really on our wave length its like going to see a friend which im glad off as its been the same with the other mw i had with the other 2.
its my sons birthday on the 8th and have been ready for it weeks in advance lol he cant wait bless him.
good to see everyone is ok though.

Hey ladies!

Had my appointment with the midwife today, she took the blood test for the triple test (so far not much of a bruise this time yay!)... and...

I heard baby's heartbeating! Totally amazing! My OH was a tad suprised, as we didnt think we'd get to hear just yet! Feel more relaxed now, and my bp was fine etc....

My sister told me i do look pregnant today-which im pleased about! We're off shopping in the week, as i need to be measured up for new bras!

my pregnancy massage was gorgeous!!! they use mamma mio stuff and are all trained by them. i felt so calm after. coudl do with one a week though. just been packing my hopsital bag. how many nappies are u packing? have u packed newborn clothes or 0-3???

Has anyone here actually used a doula before? Are they worth the money? How did you find it?

And I don't know if anyone can help, but the couple of ribs below my right breast are excruciatingly painful and have been for a week or two now...anyone had this or any ideas what it might be? Pretty sure it's not Beetroot's foot, he's transverse.

No particular reason for a 6 week scan. I live in Australia and thats when they do the first one here. Cant wait for the next one!!!

I have to go for a doc appointment (full medical) next week and then will get another ultrasound appointment for the week after in order to see the bub!

Hi, I've packed 10 nappies (OH can bring more if needed) 2 newborn vests, 2 newborn grows, 1 0-3 vest and 1 0-3 grow (just in case!) Again, OH can bring in other stuff if needed. He's been shown where everything is.

Hi i havn't posted for a while, i am now 21 weeks tomorrow lol it seems to be flying by at the moment. I have my scan on Monday and i am hoping to find out the sex of bump but the other kids don't want to know so i will have to keep it from them, my friend has said i can store things at her house, well anything that i have to buy in pink or blue lol

I have had my blood results back and there is no trace of any Rubella in my system so i have to have the vaccinations when bump is born, in the meantime i have to stay away from anyone with unknown rashes or illnesses.

Hope everyone else is well and congratulations to everyone who has given birth
