I go on holiday for a week and look what happens...congrats to all the new mums and new mums to be. Fantastic news!

Have just changed my EDD date. Total pregnancy brain meltdown as I worked it out based on a pregnancy lasting 38 weeks and not 40 duh!

Am 12 weeks and 3 days now. Had 12 week scan yesterday and can't believe how much baby has grown since the last scan 3 weeks ago. It looks like a real baby now and not a prawn!

can i ask-how come you've had two scans already? I've only had one, and the next one (anomoly) is at 20 weeks for me and another at 22 weeks.

mine looked like a proper baby too, which suprised me to be honest i didnt realise how quickly they can grow!! amazing isnt it?

Hi all,

First of all I'd like to congratulate all those who have given birth and to those just joining. I don't tend to post much but I do pop in every now and then to check on how everyone is doing.

I just have a quick question for anyone who might have some suggestions. I'm currently living in Glasgow and so do not want to have a baby in a big city I know it's too late to move before baby's born (I'm at 19 weeks) but I've been trying to find out about any towns (not too far from Glasgow as OH has to go to work) that are child friendly and I'm struggling to find where to find info on what places are like. Without travelling to each town to see what it's like for myself I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Looks like we both had a good Christmas then Keely

I had an earlier scan because myself and the midwife weren't sure of dates - I hadn't had a period since August and so they took the date of my miscarriage which was at the end of November as my "last period." The first scan showed I was only 9 weeks so therefore I got to see my baby again yesterday at 12 weeks!

How have you been feeling? Are you starting to show?

I've felt sick but not actually been sick - but that's almost disappeared now...and am really tired, normally go to bed by 9.30pm!

how come you are having a scan at 22 weeks as well as 20 weeks. i got my 20 week scan next week and been told i wont get any more. i hope i do
