Hi nicci I have no idea, but I am sure someone will be along to help you soon, not too much of a help but sending you some labour vibes and anyone else that needs them0

My midwife friend told me castor oil will do nothing but make you run to the toilet:eek: so I wouldn't bother... Few tips tho - fresh pineapple, spicy curry, bit of action with your oh:rotfl:19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0

I've tried the action with OH. Poor fella has been pounced on!
I'll avoid castor oil then......... how does the pineapple work?0 -
When I saw my obstetrician last week there was a poster on the wall which stated that using a breast pump and trying to express milk and some nipple stimulation can help to induce labour.
I've heard of nipple stimulation but never heard of expressing, so pump away ladies.0 -
Hi mandy2383,
I am not sure if he feels like he has dropped really though the top of my bum looks lower than it used to, the movements are still mostly at the top of my bump, where do you get them?0 -
Hi just posting to say - no baby yet. Although she feels like she's trying to get out and I might have just had a contraction - albeit a mild one. So fingers crossed.
I tried the nipple tweaking yesterday and got 3 very mild contractions from a lot of tweaking. I then thought if the contractions carry on then great but I couldn't be bothered to do anymore work. They had stopped, I realised, once I woke up in the morning!
Anyway, good luck for those of you who need it and even for those of you who don't! I'm off to bed now as I'm very tired. Till the next time (maybe with birthing story!? Who knows!) xBaby Ember

alison6692 - if you want to chat at 3.30 i will probably log on! As not sleeping due to restless legs.
Castor Oil isn't recommended. Does anybody know if using a birthing ball can actually bring on labour? I'm using one now and hopefully it will.
miss_be - could be the start, here's hoping for you.
Wonder who'll be first.now mum of 4!!!0 -
