Hiya x
Good Luck today keely x
3Kids.. they are painful ( sorreeee) but just think its over in a few minutes. Annoyingly I have just had a call from the hospital and as my bloods were abnormal - I am having my 2nd sweep tomorrow as they want to hurry things up.
Hope it won't be long for you Miss_be - Lots of labour vibes coming your way.

alison6692 - had a sweep with last child that didn't work but i suppose i have blocked out all the thoughts of pain involved with sweeps and childbirth. Hope tomorrow goes OK for you tomorrow - what is wrong with your bloods? If you don't mind me askingnow mum of 4!!!0

3KIDS - re driving. Don't be too hard on yourself. Your confidence will increase with experience and it must be very hard trying to drive and concentrate with your bump! I think it is better to feel a little underconfident than become too cocky in a car when you've just passed your test!
Oooh Keeley good luck! I felt sick with worry just before mine... I thought there wouldn't be a baby in there, such relief to see the heart beat! Are you showing yet? I'm 11 weeks on Saturday and feel fat and bloated! I'm trying to convince myself that it is the baby? I haven't put on any weight yet, even though my boobs have increased nearly two cup sizes :T haven't seen that much growth EVER!
Miss_be itsounds as if you have been a very busy bee with all that tweaking ect! :rotfl: Good luck with your trek to the supermarket.:A I can fly :A0 -
Congratulations Melly!
Still no baby over here, I'm officially 41 weeks today.
Have an appointment with a consultant tomorrow. But have no idea what will happen.
Sending labour vibes to everyone that needs them..........

Oh, Keeley! Cant't wait for you to report back! Is DH going with you?
Wonder who will be first, 3kids, alison, missb, nicci?!
Where I live we are not offered a sweep until 10 days OD so when I went for my appt, I decided to keep my dignity intact for one more day as they booked me to be induced the very next day! For me, it was great to know when I would deliver so I could have someone take care of my dog and my family could take time off work.
I gave birth to Poppy exactly 24hours and 17mins after stepping through the hospital doors at Zero cm dilation! Also, as I went into my 11th day OD the hopital's policy is to special monitor so baby and I were constantly checked which was really reassuring. So, please try not to worry.

septemberbaby- i love the name poppy, but i went and named my cat poppy so cant really use that now lol.
Yes, my hubby is having the afternoon off to come with me. He's really excited about it all now, once the shock went lol.

Annoyingly I was in the bath so hubby spoke to MW but I have had problems with BP / Protein in urine, etc. They took bloods to see if there were any signs I was pre-eclamptic and although there was nothing really alarming a few of my results have worried them.. so they don't want me hanging around now.
Looking forward to meeting our little girl.

I might take this opportunity to show off my NURSERY PICS
Re: cat in pics ... I know I know.. he is a very naughty boy! ha ha:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0 -
Thanks douggie, miss_be and emjem - i hope i will get more confidence after baby is born as i really need to be able to drive.
miss_be - nice to know i am not the only one getting sooo impatient. I am sure when our babies come we will miss being pregnant in some ways and only remember the good bits. Our memories have a great way of tricking us - hence me expecting number 4 and only just remember the pains of childbirth. Sounds like you have tried everything to get things going - hope things happen for you soon - wonder who'll be first.
Hi Septemberbaby, nice to see you are still keeping an eye on us - with my last child i was only offered a sweep at 10 days over and then when that didn't work was taken in at 11 days and had my son then. This time i think my midwife knows how anxious i am and is giving me a sweep at 5 days over and the hospital i am going to lets you go 12 days over but hopefully they won't let me.
allison6692 - your nursery looks absolutely georgous. Wish i could have done something similar, but with a 3 bedroomed house and what will be 4 kids, i just don't have the room. It must have been lovely buying all the bits and pieces and doing it all up. Have you had any further tests/scans to confirm that you are having a girl? Husbands are no good at getting the information we need are they? Probably best that they take you in just in case because of your bloods - best of luck.now mum of 4!!!0 -
Thanks 3kids .. Its our first baby and we have waited a long time for her - so she is being very spoilt by us and her Grandparents... Bless.
I paid for a gender scan as hubby and I really wanted to know the sex so would decorate the room. I had it confirmed on a growth scan I had to have a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks again x Hope this baby doesn't cause us anymore problems.. ha ha:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0
