Nicci985 - Congratulations. I'm sure you're glad you know what's happening now. Being born on the 29th certainly does make it rather special.
Congrats to you Pollyanna24 - I hope everything goes well for you.
I've just come back from the MW and I've got an appointment at antenatal on Friday, where they'll find out if the babe's ok. If she is then I can wait until 14 days overdue and then they'll have to induce me. I was offered the sweep but I prefer to leave her to her own devices and come out when she's ready (unless that goes against the 14 days). So if I go in on Friday and the little one isn't doing good in there then I'll be induced on Saturday and have a hospital birth. If she is ok then I just need to try and get her out before next Wednesday to be able to have the home birth. We'll just have to wait and see what happens again. It's a right old journey isn't it?!
I hope everyone else is doing well out there. xxxBaby Ember

Congratulations pollyanna! Re maternity clothes - New Look have a sale on maternity at the mo. I got some nice combats this morning for £8 and they had lots of decent black trousers in the smaller sizes. Is your work uniformed? If so do check if they supply maternity work clothes before you splash out on your own.
Personally I'd be tempted not to go too mad on the maternity clothes front just yet. I had one pair of black trousers given to me which i wear for work, and all my other trousers fitted well (if done up under my bump) till about a week ago. It is only now at 32 weeks that i've busted out of everything and have had to buy stuff (and i have put on 2 stone, so not a skinny minny!).2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

A friend of mine runs a wesbite and she actually had size ten black maternity trousers in atm! and they're nicely cheap, have a look here :-) I get nothing for advertising it other than hopefully helping two people :-) Congrats btw!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
Glad you are ok 3kids - it is quite hard juggling two so hats off to you for the three you manage so far! It's when everybody gets hungry at once or everyone is pooping it's awkward.
And all this coughing is doing NOTHING for my pelvic floor, believe me.
Have noticed that we debate real v disposable nappies, but I appear to be using about three trees worth of breast pads and maternity/tena lady pads a week, so am considering the lily pads. Does anybody know anyone who uses them? Bit worried about losing them in the night if they're clear though, so will have to weigh up the pros and cons. I've already had a clearout and binned one of my two breastfeeding bras by accident which I'm a bit miffed about. Pregnancy brain still clearly in attendance.
Hoping for some good news soon as you all have more appointments!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0 -
Morning...
Well it looks like we get to meet our little girl tomorrow - Have an induction booked due to mild pre-eclampsia.
Although I had a 2nd sweep yesterday and a show at 1am this morning so she might decided to come out all by herself who knows.
We are very excited and nervous all at the same time.
I'll let you know as soon as she arrives.

Brown combats - and yes, very comfy (and actually look quite nice - might be able to wear them after the birth on "fat" days lol). I have a couple of pairs of maternity jeans but they fall down really easily so can't wear them out of the house. Trying on maternity jeans yesterday they all felt like they had the same design flaw. Hipster-type things do not work well on pregnant women i think!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0

Good luck alison - really hope everything goes OK.
My due date is TODAY. But not holding out much hope for baby coming. Because it is my due date i actually think that there is less chance of him making an appearance today than there was yesterday!!!!!
Hope everyone else is good - i would second the hipster maternity jeans thing - definitely don't work.
Take carenow mum of 4!!!0 -
