Morning all,

Good luck to those patiently waiting for their arrivals. We have now arrived at week 39 :eek: I can't believe there are only 7 days until the due date. We have our midwife appointment this afternoon to find out of he is still the right way round after last weeks ECV, I am keeping everything crossed. I am pretty sure that he isn't engaged though as I am sure he is moving more.

Oh the subject of maternity jeans I have loved the huge over bump style ones from H&M. They are really well cut and are so comfy!!!

Hi everyone I just thought I would introduce myself. I am pregnant with baby number 2 and have been lurking on here for a while!

We already have a little boy who is 18 months and we found out a couple of weeks ago that this bump is also a boy!

Bun - Annabeth Charlotte arrived 2 1/2 weeks early at 3.44am on 7th February, weighing 5lb 9oz.
Cathie - Alice arrived 17 February at 1700 weighing 7lb 5oz
Melly74 - Daisy Hannah arrived 19 February at 1822 weighing 7lb 14oz

PROBABLY GIVEN BIRTH BUT TOO WORN OUT TO LOG ON LIST
Usually allow 2 weeks after EDD before transferring to this list...

Have noticed that we debate real v disposable nappies, but I appear to be using about three trees worth of breast pads and maternity/tena lady pads a week, so am considering the lily pads. I bought washable breast pads from Boots (£4.50 for six) and I'm much happier with them than constantly throwing away disposables. I would wash them first though to soften them up

Hi everyone,

We had our appointment with m/w earlier and she confirmed that the baby has stayed in the right position!!! :beer: He is 3/5 engaged too which is brilliant, now I've just gotta sit on the birth ball lots!!

hi all and good luck to every due. i am feeling a bit miffed went to hospital yesterday , had an appointment at 3pm for my RHB blood test, told them that i get out of breath easily, i am only 17th weeks, so i had all this test done and finally left the hospital at 530pm today, having the all clear, just wandering if anyone else felt the same. missed out on a days wages, as dont get sick pay but at least i know my heart, blood and lungs are okay

can someone please changed my due date to 6th aughust, not sure how to do it.

Carol9uk - at least you know you're ok as you say. All these checkups can get a bit annoying can't they.

3kids - how's it with you? I hope you're not too stressed with it all.

No twinges at this end. Not a sausage! Ah well. I wonder if Ember will need to be forced out of me on Wednesday? I find out tomorrow if everything is ok and we can wait for a few more days rather than being induced. Wish me luck. xxx

miss_be - sorry to hear that your twinges came to nothing. I keep feeling as though it is going to happen, but i think my aches are just the aches of the day.

purplegirluk1 - glad baby has stayed in the right position for you - one less thing to worry about - you never know you might be some of us to the birth list.

Is it a mistake that I am watching "Dawn Gets a Baby" on BBC3 right now??? It is a wee bit freaky, the baby mags make it look nice, this on the other hand is not sugar coated, hmmm.
