Congrats Cathie and Melly!

Glad your scan went ok Keelykat!

Can't believe no more action yet. How are you feeling 3kids? Even if I don't have time to post I am checking in on everybody each day. Annabeth is lovely, but I've had a terrible cold/cough so been feeling a bit rough. Mostly it's my asthma adjusting to not being pregnant any more, so meds have been adjusted so should feel better soon.

Talking of weird things your body does, I still have fluffy shoulders. What on earth was the point of that?

hi Bun, nice to see you've not forgotten us. I know what it's like with a new baby and you don't get time for things like posting on here - at the moment i have too much time and am trying to stop myself sorting cupboards. Glad that Annabeth is doing really well - i have got a cold too, i think that it is the time of year. I am getting a bit fed up and am ready for baby to come, although i prefer him not to make an appearance on Friday. To be honest though my body is doing OK, not much backache and even my varicose veins that i've got in all areas aren't too bad so for all my moaning i'm not doing too bad.

Anyway, the day starts when the kids come home from school and i have to take littley to football and sort tea and things. Take care

It's a leap year baby! :rolleyes:

My consultant didn't attempt a sweep as the babies head is no where near engaged, it's just bobbing about above the pelvis.

He then discussed with me that I couldn't be induced as my C-section scar would be put at risk of ripping which would be dangerous. Apparently inducing makes you have harder and longer contractions.

So I asked the best action and he said a C-section and the only dates were the 29th or the 5th March he wouldn't let me pick the 5th of March.

So now I'm busy getting everything rounded up and ready.

I guess my baby will be joining a very small select club really.

Any news anywhere else?

Can I join the club? I think I am 8 weeks (that's going by counting my dates), but the lady at the hospital reckons I'm about 7 weeks now, going by the early scan.

But for now I am sticking with 8th October 2008.

Because I was already busting out of my size 10s and there is no hope of dieting now, I'm already thinking of maternity clothes. Don't really want to start buying size 12s (even though it's all me and not baby at the mo!), so just wondered where I could get cheap maternity clothes from. I looked in Tescos, but I was surprised that I couldn't find any.

All I mainly want at the mo is black trousers as I have some "fat" jeans at home, but no "fat" work clothes.
