My new Health Visitor is going to be the one you have now Choc, i should have had her in the first place and im not sure why i didnt but to be honest i dont really like the sound of her either, going off what you have said!! - i thought you had the one i asked to change  have sent you a PM.
Its my Grandad's funeral today. I wasnt sure if i should take Natasha for fear of the frowns and comments people would make but he would of really wanted her to be there as he hung on to see her and followed me through the whole pregnancy. I saw him almost every day and he was really involved with everything plus she is his first Great Grandchild.
There has already been comments and argurments from his step kids - they have definatley come out of the woodwork and are only interested in what they can get for themselves it really makes me sick:heart: I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
Hi traveller, my changing bag did come with a changing mat inside it, in another little black bag with a zip and it also has a place inside to put a bottle thats insulated. When i opened the box up a little bottle of baby wash/bath fell out too so i was really pleased with it all made even better that its free, hope that helps.
ella- I hope everything goes as well as it can do for you today.
Hope everyone is doing good today, i just cant seen to get comfortable at all, but not too long to go now. The 'haven't you dropped yet' comments have started, i feel like saying yeah cant you see my invisible pram with my baby in it lol0 -

Hi 3kids, hope you are OK and looking forward to the finishing line very soon! And many congrats on passing your driving test :jhope you are very proud of yourself.
Thanks for being list monitor! Who will look after it after 28th Feb?!. Maybe me as DH and I are seriously thinking about TTC again very soon .
Poppy is such a good baby....I think it must be beginners luck :rotfl:.
Take care

Also in case some of you haven't seen this, the March issue of Pregnancy & Birth magazine comes with a whopping £13 worth of Huggies vouchers (for wipes and newborn nappies, but most Tesco and Asda stores should take them for anything!). The mag is £2.70 and is likely to sell out very quickly
I'm sure Dormouse won't mind me stealing her post from The Parent Club! I bought the magazine a few days ago. There are 8 x £1 off Huggies nappies and 4 x £1.25 off Huggies wipes. I used a voucher in Asda and got a 6 pack of wipes down to £3.75

Hi, Septemberbaby. TTC again!!! Poppy must be good. I really hope i don't get broody again as i am definitely not having any more kids - 4 will definitely be enough. I can't see you leaving us yet so I am sure that the list will be kept up to date.
Complete strangers have started commenting about the size of my bump now!
ella-ella-ella - hope the funeral went ok. Hope you took Natasha with you - it sounds as though your grandad would have wanted her there. It is awful when someone dies an there are always relatives who are only out for what they can get - makes you sick doesn't it (speaking from experience).
As for health visitors - i met mine unpregnancy related a few months back and she was really nice - some aren't though and i sympathise if you have an awful one.
Started to feel sick at night now and so am not sleeping - has anybody else had this? Baby is not completely engaged yet - it would be so much easier if i knew when he was going to make an appearance especially with the kids being on school hols soon and childcare if i went into hospital being a little bit of an issue. I am desparately trying to clean and tidy in preparation for the baby but am sick of cleaning the same things.
Hope everyone else is doing OK. Still can't believe how quiet this thread is at the mo.I'm off to buy that parenting magazine now.now mum of 4!!!0 -
Hello everyone. Thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm pg with baby #4 and it was a big surprise to say the least. Pg hasn't been too straightforward so far and it's now registered as 'high risk'. Baby is due in August and I have a scan next week.
I look forward to getting to know you all and for top tips to save as much money as possible! I've got rid of almost everything and no money to start from scratch.0 -
Hi wotnext - there doesn't seem to be anyone else about so i will welcome you to the pregnancy club. If you want to add yourself to the list then cut and paste it and insert your name and due date in the correct place - or if you want somone else to do it let us know. Have you looked to see if you are entitled to a surestart maternity grant to help with buying all the baby bits you will need?
Any advice (i know that sounds daft with baby number 4, but i am expecting my 4th and feel like a first timer sometimes), or if you just fancy a moan then there is always someone on here with a bit of advice or just some sympathy.now mum of 4!!!0 -

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I am hoping that I can claim the SSMG after the baby is born and I start to get the higher rate of CTC. (I am right in thinking you get a higher rate for the first year?).
I was hoping to use that £500 to put towards a bigger car. Ours will be far too small. Not quite sure what reasonable 6/7 seater I can get at a low price though. Any recommendations on a good, reliable second-hand cheap 6/7 seater welcome!
In the meantime I am going to try and provide for this baby through Freecycle and Ebay and any freebies kindly pasted on this site! My main concern is a pram and a carseat - those will be our biggest expense. Everything else we can muddle through with.
Would someone be kind enough to add me to the list? I am due on 28th Aug (atm, unless the scan says differently of course!).
Quick question for everyone - when did you get given your Bounty packs? I had my booking-in appt last week and never got one. Will the first one be given to me at the scan do you think?0 -
Hi everyone
I've posted this on the competitions board but this seems to be a giveaway as much as a competition and thought this was a good place to post.
