I think that pretty much happens to everyone - all my babies have suddenly become active once on the monitor. Don't let it put you off going again if necessary - Tom became less active in the couple of days before he was born and it's only because of being monitored that they picked up he was distressed and delivered him!

He's lovely. In years to come when he's a strapping footballer, you'll look back at those photos at his tiny nappy and wonder where all the time went! I hope that you are feeling okay.......I think it's so hard after a section, as your head is telling you that you want to do so much, but your body really needs to rest. Take care.

i've been doing my best Septemberbaby but you are a real pro at updating the list now. Seems an age when you were on there overdue with your September baby. Hope you and baby are doing well - sounds like you are if she is sleeping for 12 hours.

He's soo cute Choc - I love the way new babies hold their arms up.

Off to clean the kitchen now as it is a real mess and even though i have over 3 weeks left to go, if i was to go into labour in the night i would have to clean the kitchen before i left for the hospital!

dont feel guilty about your pram. you need the one you like and you think will be best for YOU as well as your baby.
i couldn't afford the one i really wanted when i had my first, and hence developed a really bad thing for pushchairs. i went through about 20 (NOT A JOKE!!!) with my son, and about 10 with my daughter. i love em, and i should have just bought the one i really wanted all those years ago, instead of settling for 2nd best.
i have gone through every brand and my husband said i should work for which! or some such publication. i think there should be a pushchair hire shop where you can hire the various ones out for a week to use with your baby, then you can choose well because you have used them for a little while and know the good things, and the bad things, about the chairs.

hmmm.....little business plan there for me ! lol
