Hello - just been looking at the list and slightly concerned at how near the top I am getting! four weeks to go and it feels like we'll never be ready!! Good luck to all the Feb ladies....

It is really strange, one minute you are at the bottom of the list and then next thing you are nearing the top - scary! Although at the same time i feel as though i have been pregnant forever (does that make sense?).
    now mum of 4!!!

Hi ladies  How is everyone today?

Choc- Thomas is so cute you must be one proud mummy

honeybe21- Thats the pregnancy brain for you, my brain has been all over the place, cooked OH mashed potato for tea the other day and somehow ended up cooking a fork with the potatos too, i do like to try new reciepes but dont think OH was too keen on this one.

Had my health visitor come out the other day for our first appointment, couldn't believe how nice she is, she was like a mother hen, i felt like asking her to move in she was such a happy person, it was such a relief really because i was so nervous of meeting her.

Before i forget I got my boots free nappy changing bag the other day too, which is great, so thank you to everyone that has posted advice on here I have saved so much money thanks to everyones advice :T .
  • Hi Guys

Choc - Thomas is lovely - he looks so tiny x

OH has gone back to work today after having two weeks off so its just me and Natasha. So far i have managed to wash up and have a shower!!

I cant beleive how much weight i have lost, im actually 4/5 lb lighter than before falling pregnant - my ankles look like they belong to a small child and that they may snap at any moment

The midwife thinks that because i was so sick until around 6 months and really struggled to eat the whole way through, that my body has used all my fat for the baby. Im seriously not complaining its just a bit of a shock to be the size i was at 18 years old lol :rotfl:

The Health Visitor came yesterday and really upset me with her comments and stoney attitude - she is just so unapprochable and made me feel really uncomfortable. I really dont need to be chewing myself up into a state dreading her coming so i complained and asked for a different one or else i wouldnt answer the door to her  i think its all sorted now which is a relief.

    Take care x
 I love my gorgeous little girl
  • My OH goes back next Monday - I am already dreading how I will manage. Have a feeling I will spend a lot of days doing not very much!

Can you PM me with which health visitor you have? Mine came out last week and said she covered the village where you live, where I live and the one in between so I wonder if it's the same one as I had (she has the same name as I do). I didn't take to her much and neither did my mam which is a shame as I am apparently going to have weekly visits to get Tom weighed.

I have poured Go Cat into two bowls of warm milk instead of Cheerios for ds now which is a bit embarrassing, although the fatcats don't seem to mind!
Am spending my time sitting, trying not to bend. Just less than three weeks to go and it's all I can do to stay awake sometimes. Bubs has dropped which is very uncomfy at the bottom, but has given her room to kick her heels so I have the six nations going on in there. So want her out soon!

    Hope everybody else is ok.

Ella - well done for standing up to the dodgy hv

Choc - your Thomas is lovely!
Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early :D

Hi, does this come with a changing mat?
With regards to dodgy health visitors,I'm dreading when I have to go through that, as I have the feeling it will be the same one I had when my 8 year old was young. She was quite patronsing-hopefully she's retired.Do they still come round at the crack of dawn like they use to,lol?
