Goodness, Bailey, that's fast turnaround! Ouch!

This whole it being harder to breathe when you're heavily pregnant - is this survivable? I keep imagining I'll have to go into hospital for oxygen!
I have spent so many years getting to grips with anxiety... my coping mechanisms involve a lot of deep breathing. I'd miss being able to do it! I'm already starting to feel a little too much pressure if I don't....erm...y'know...regularly . Only three months to go...

I seem to have been pregnant for eternity. I have been suffering with really painful Braxton Hicks contractions during the night since I was 20 weeks! :eek:

I've also had regular heartburn, indigestion and sickness and stomach problems. I end up waking up in the middle of the night with B Hicks pains and then have to dash off to the loo (Sorry!) :embarasse Now it looks as though all these stomach probs and night-time loo trips have developed into another common pregnancy symptom! :rolleyes:

I've got over 3 weeks left until my due date and already I've got people asking if I'm overdue because I'm so big! I'm only 9 stone naturally and now weigh 11 and half stone. :eek:

Hi guys

Congrats to those expecting.

At my 38 week check MW said baby is 3/5 engaged so well and truly starting, however apparently third babies can be difficult with lots of stopping and starting re: contractions. None so far today though! I finish wwork tonight so will be happy for it to come anytime after that. Don't feel too nervous today but everyday is different.

Hope to post soon with news of new baby, just hope it's not like DD1, who was due 20.06.03 but turned up on 03.07.03 after induction. Well I guess it will just come when it's ready.

Welcome back Bailey! Hope everything goes well - the first weeks are so worrying, we've all been there so can sympathise. I've seen your post in the parent thread, and I know you're worried about the stuff that's gone on before you knew you're pregnant, but the risks are minuscule - you'll be fine.


And BTW I know several people who've had babies within 12 months of each other :eek: and they seem to be managing fine so I'm sure it can be done. Somehow... :rotfl:

Eels, that must've been a bit of a shock! Babies eh, never do what they're supposed to. :rolleyes: Whatever happens though, I'm sure it'll be fine - and yes, it's worth every minute... :rotfl:

I'm still feeling fine one second and really miserable the next. :rolleyes: I'm just hoping that this baby will pop out at 38 weeks like DS did, I just can't even imagine being overdue and waiting another 12 weeks! :eek: Eight I can more or less live with (but hey, who's counting! :rotfl: )

Jo_b, at least you've only got 3 weeks to go - ish! I can't blame you for feeling fed up - it sounds horrendous!

That's why I feel like such an ungrateful moo - I don't have a reason to moan! I've got no Braxton Hicks, no indigestion, no heartburn, no SPD, no backache, no piles, no tummy problems, no skin problems, so why am I so fed up??? Stupid hormones. :mad:
