Hi Everyone
I hope that you are all well. Belated congratulations to happiness fairy.

I am the opposite jenpoptab - I'm supposed to be doing things, but can't help having a sleep/watching telly and just chilling out!

I've had absolutely no energy and motivation for weeks. Today....I think I've started nesting!! :rotfl:
I've tidied up the carrier bag drawer (Yes, we have got such a thing!). Cleaned out the veg cupboard - even removing a manky old rotten potato from the back and reorganised the saucepan cupboard.
Yesterday, I washed a couple of loads of my son's newborn clothes and I've folded them up in a little layette on our shelving unit.I've even had a sort out of our bathroom cupboard - tidying up my stash of cheap toiletries (thanks to Tesco Health & Beauty coupons!) I've thrown out stuff that I'll never use. (I even found some condoms with a best before of 2006!
We were trying for a baby for a while though!
 )
I didn't nest when I was pregnant with my son, much to my husband's disappointment. What do you think - does this count as nesting?!
Mind you - I'm so tired now all I can be bothered to make myself is beans on toast for tea. My OH is at work tonight so I can't even rope him in to get me a takeaway!0 -
Definitely sounds like nesting, Jo!
Wanna come and clean my house too, as I just feel like slobbing out?
I've got a new weird craving thing - actually I suspect it's a bit like that pica thing that some women have for coal or chalk or whatever? Anyway, mine is toothpaste - can't get enough of it!I mean, I obviously don't eat it, but I do brush my teeth a lot more these days (which I guess is a good thing). My DS's Milktooth toothpaste is my favourite. Also mouthwash is great - I'm not usually bothered about it.
Oh well, at least I'll have lovely teeth by the time babe arrives.Anyone else got any weird cravings (please make me feel normal!)
I'm feeling a lot better now, moodiness-wise. I think it helped that we had a big chat with DH and I told him just how rubbish I've been feeling, and he's been great, assuring me that he still fancies me and all that (despite my elephant ankles and sausage fingers - well he didn't say that bit :rotfl: ).
Hope everyone's having a nice weekend.0 -

My neighbour went into labour last night and I'm sooooooo jealous!!! (I'm minding the dog so I'm hoping to get some news soon!).
Finally finished my antibiotics and feel better now. Hope I'm not prone to these water infections for the rest of my preg!
Does anyone take pregnancy vitamins? DH has bought me Pregnacare (3 for 2 at Boots, apparently). Hoping these might perk me up a little...

How are all you guys doing? Wish I could get the hang of this nesting thing ... I'm waiting for it to kick in but no such luck!
OK, has anyone got any new ideas on how I can sleep?
I have around 3 pillows for my head and shoulders (for the heartburn/stuffy nose), a beany pillow under my belly, a pillow between my legs and a v-shaped one to wedge anywhere that feels lacking in support. The trouble is, I can sleep for an hour then I need to move or get up for a pee, but my pelvis aches terribly after I've been lying down for a while. I'm fine through the day but it's so hard to get comfy at night and when I have to move again I feel all seized up and get terribly sore in my pubic and right groin area. Once I'm moving it wears off quickly but it's bothersome enough to make sleeping or moving in bed really hard.
I really need more sleep, I'v got a week and a half left at work and 4 weeks left until baby so I want to get what rest I can!0
