I got myself a pack of Tesco's own brand pregnancy vitamins, but I only take one every few days (so a 30-pack should last me until the end :rotfl: ). This is mainly because my blood tests have been fine until now, so I'm assuming I don't really need them, and also they have iron in them, so I want to avoid the side effects.
I do have to say that I feel they perk me up, but whether it's just the placebo effect, who knows!
Give them a go and see how it goes! Glad to hear your infection has cleared up, they're not nice.0 -
Eeels I'm using just about every duvet in the house as it's much more comfy than pillows. I have our winter king size feather duvet folded in half under all my body which helps support my bump so meaning I can get rid of one pillow. I than have a single duvet folded in half then a third folded up under the feather duvet to raise my upper body to help ease the heartburn and an extra pillo as well as the other thrid of the single duvet under my piloow for my head. I still have a big pillow for between my knees although my physio said if you have bad SPD a pillow isn't thick enough and you need either a proper bolster or a rolled up duvet or something to give you the same spacing at your knees as you have at your hips - much wider than you think. If you have a single duvet rolled up as a bolster then it's good to put your upper arm over it too as this helps reduce swelling - not sure how any of it works when you roll over though nor where we're supposed to put our OHs :rotfl: I really have found lying on the duvets helps my pelvis a lot as it's like a tempur mattress (but much cheaper) and it's much softer than the regular mattress. It needs shaking every day to get the air back into it but it SO much better than before.
I hope you manage to get some sleep!
And Septemberbaby my eating has been so up the spout that I've been on Pregnacare and Mumomega the whole way through as I was only eating basic carbs for the first 6 months.0 -
