CG, not long to go now, so good luck for Thursday...am just imagining the MWs trying to push you out the maternity dept. while you shout "i'm not bloody moving until I've given birth!!!! !!!!!! off!!!!"

funny you should say that! your not the only one that has had that vision! :rotfl:

so... we find out tomorrow how its happening, and then its baby time....THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!! (still sounds weird being able to say that!)
    :T :T :T
  • YEY you must be so excited.

I am getting a bit worried about my overdue plan. I have a lot of scar tissue and stuff inside my belly from previous operations and they said if it was starting to cause problems they would have to delivery early via sunroof. I am in so much pain on my left underneath my bump I am hoping it's not the internal scars (although thats where they are and where my ovary and bowel are fused together). Never thought I would be hoping it was SPD!! My other pains have subsided since I got my bump belt so am keeping fingers crossed the pain is just moving. Really didn't want little bubba over christmas if i could help it. Ah well see midwife tomorrow so we might talk it through then.

Other than that phew I am so tired! BORED of bangers going off at 11 o clock at night. They aren't even pretty for gods sake what is the point of them??

    Hello all.

I've not had a restful nights sleep for week and a half. Baby has eased off my bladder but I keep getting really weird dreams that wake me up and then I just lie there with my brain spinning. Anyone got any ideas of how I can 'knock' myself out for the night? I can cope with waking up it's just not being able to get back to sleep driving me nutty.

Hope all goes well for those giving birth imminently!

I'm giggling so much at the vagoina story that I'm going to wake up the baby! :rotfl:

See that's why us oldies will never leave this thread, it's too entertaining! :T

Oh that is ridiculous. Surely a diagram would be enough for the numpties that don't know what bits they've got where. It's not like you can feel much through your clothes anyway.... tell me you were all fully clothed please!! :rotfl:

the instructor even walked round the room checking that we all had our hands on our vagoinas  maybe she didnt trust us to know where they were?
:j Baby bonce was born on Christmas morning after a ridiculously short labour and no pain relief! If only losing the baby weight was as easy!:T

And did your OH have to put his hand there too?

Are there any more classes? And more to the point, are you going back?

Oh dear, that is just so weird. Are you sure she was for real and not just some perv that had wandered in off the street!?! :D:rotfl:

Seriously, I'm not sure I would have gone back if that had happened at our classes. We found them embarrassing enough without something like that. :o:o

thats what OH said about the midwife who gave me an internal! :D

Doobees - sorry, cant help you love... you havent had a full night in a week and a half?? i havent had one in MONTHS! bah!

Shelvis - best you tell the MW, even though having baby early would be a bit of a nightmare, better that than you really hurting yourself

jbbonce - thats another fine reason why i wouldnt go to any lessons.... sheer embarrassment at tree hugging 'imagine opening up like a beautiful flower' scenarios (when as we all know the birth experience is more like a car crash than a candle lit whale song love in...)
and surely if we didnt know where our vagoinas were, we would not be in this pickle in the first place!!
