I have been using these since i was 37 weeks, 3 times a day, although i do have the odd couple of cups more, i think you can start using them from 36 weeks, but as of yet they haven't worked for me. I have just bought some of the raspberry tablets which are supposed to be stronger than the t-bags and i take those aswell as the tea, so hopefully my cervix will be viable for a sweep this week, unlike last week.Titch0

We went to nhs antenatal classes last week and are still laughing about them now. the woman leading them was from Australia and she kept saying "put your hands on your vagoina, girls. You too, fellas, put your hands on your partner's vagoina" and she wouldn't let anyone finish a question. I tried to ask about raspberry leaf tea, and she was like "oh, no. Intercourse, that's what you want. Intercourse." I wanted to say "well if i could convince my husband to have intercourse i wouldnt need the bloody tea" but of course i didn't.
and the worst bit was, there was a muslim couple at the back of the room, neither spoke very clear english, and he was trying to ask a question. the instructor wouldn't let him finish and was like "Intercourse, that's what you want. Intercourse. " but actually it turned out that his question was about pre-eclampsia. He was not amused.

We were not able to keep from laughing, and the rest of the couples there were all stony faced, which made it so much funnier.:j Baby bonce was born on Christmas morning after a ridiculously short labour and no pain relief! If only losing the baby weight was as easy!:T0 -
WHY did you have to put your hands on your vagoinas?0

so we could get ourselves familiar with the layout downstairs iyswim. In order to find the perineum we had to put one hand on the vagoina and one hand on the anus. Not at all embarrassing to do in front of 19 strangers, honestly.:j Baby bonce was born on Christmas morning after a ridiculously short labour and no pain relief! Oh that is ridiculous. Surely a diagram would be enough for the numpties that don't know what bits they've got where. It's not like you can feel much through your clothes anyway.... tell me you were all fully clothed please!! :rotfl:0 -

All sounds a bit weird! It's nearly 14 years (OMG!) since I went to antenatal classes but can't remember anything like that!
Does that mean if you can't manage to find your vagina and perineum (and if you are already pregnant you should have a pretty good idea, shouldn't you???) you won't be able to give birth? I think it pretty much happens anyway whether you're aware of what's going on or not (as I wasn't with DS - they gave me pethedine and I just wanted to sleep. The midwife kept waking me up to tell me I was having a contraction and needed to push!)
Talking of giving birth, I dreamed last night I gave birth to twins who could already walk and talk and they were really demanding! Very relieved to wake up!0 -
Morning ladies, hope you're all well.
Congrats Izoom, hope to hear all the details v. soon!
Welcome to Okiegirl
CG, not long to go now, so good luck for Thursday...am just imagining the MWs trying to push you out the maternity dept. while you shout "i'm not bloody moving until I've given birth!!!! !!!!!! off!!!!"
Still no sign of my graduatoin from the TTC list. Blood tests have shown that I am not ovulating, but the good news is the DH swimmers are tip-top! Am now waiting for an appointment to come through from the hospital to see a specialist...probably in January. Trying to keep positive and enjoy the extra 'loving'and attention from DH. Made us a lot, lot closer...aahhhhh bless him x
Have a good day everyone.:A I can fly :A0
