well hello girls!
first, before i forget...Shelvis... chocoholic was right, it was me who was measuring 5 weeks ahead, load of crap love... dont panic yourself!
doing it with a tape measure can be out by miles depending on who measures you... seriously, if your MW had handed the tape to another MW the measurement would probably have been completely different!
ive said it all along, they bang it into us that all babies are different, each pregnancy is different, all women carry different then they expect each and every one of us to measure up EXACTLY the same??
naaahh....
right... well its definitely a section for us, going in tomorrow at about 7am and they said unless there is an emergency queue jumper we should be all done by 9ish, im part completely fine about it and part bricking it!
we had everything explained by the midwives, met the ana...anathes....anathesio....(hmmnn) the knocker outer woman and went over the epidural procedure and all thatand i have pre meds to take tonight and in the morning,
this is my last night as a mother of one
OH will be home tomorrow night and has instructions to come on here and fill you all in (hiya baby! love you! xXx) so you can all stop pacing
i imagine i will be on at some point before i get discharged through the magic of patientline... but you will hear from him first...
right then, im off to the sofa to collapse (bloody long day!) and enjoy what is probably the last decent cup of tea i will get for a week!0 -
Good luck CG.
I don't think an emergency queue jumper would dare jump in before you - I wouldn't!! Lucky you to know exactly when it's all going to happen.0 -
good luck CG!
me and lucy will be thinking of you in the morning xxx0 -
good luck for tom CG hope all goes well and the wee boy behaves while you have to stay in hosp!!!!!!:j
11 weeks and counting had the physio phone today to arrange an appointment so hope that it helps!!!! and other half was close to a slap today after a cheeky comment about needing scafolding to get near me?????:mad:What's for you won't go past you0 -
hello all
Well after Jbbonce and her EXPERIENCE with antenatal classes I was half dreading going to my 1st one today but it really wasn't at all bad, but then again it wasn't that great!! At least OH didn't have to find my Vagoina for me :rotfl: We were told by the midwife to write down questions/niggles and she would answer as many as she could. So we were split into 2 groups to write down questions!! Each group had bout 20 questions and she answered 2 off of each set so that really put our minds at rest (not)!! Then she went on to say how she doesn't mince her words and how bloody painful labour is!! Thats my mind totally at rest now lol!!
Ok my moan is over!!!
Good luck CG not sure if u'll be back on her to get the good lucks but U'll know we are all thinking of you. Take care and we'll hear from OH when he get s the chance !!
Shelvis CG is right don't stress about being too big I've measured ahead right from my 12 week scan. At my 28 week appoint I was measuring 31 so more than likely at my 31 week check I will still be ahead!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
All the best for tomorrow CG. If it's anything like my elective section it will be a great laid back experience, lots of banter with the medical team and very calm (especially compared with the emergency section I'd had previously!). Enjoy it, you will be able to take it all in, I can certainly recommend it.
See you soon in the parent club.0 -
