thanks for all the good luck wishes for this week! we find out the day after tomorrow what is going on in there and how i will be delivering,
my OH has wanted this babies birthday to be today right from the very start... so im nervous!
i wish i had time to stay on the sofa with my legs clamped shut all day! lol

i have only just found this thread. i am due 3rd march 2008 with a little boy,it will be my 3rd boy,i have one age 9 n another age 2.

Thanks for your reply miss_be, yes i have tried this technique, but still nothing, she must be nice and cosy in there, that's all i can think of, i have another attempt at a sweep on wednesday, hopefully the cervix will be viable this time, failing that i want to go in a.s.a.p, to be induced, although i would still prefer my homebirth, but just so anxious don't think i could go on waiting any longer. If i was to go over by 14 days like tsstss7 i would be pulling my hair out and hubby's not that he has much left anyway!!:T :T

and just to make it worse my friend who was due a month AFTER me had her baby boy last night!!! :eek: Awwwww no seriously I'm very happy for her and they are both doing well so that's fantastic news

can't remeber who asked about heartburn but rennies is great I have a packet everywhere (even in my dog walking jacket pocket). I also asked about the Dual action Rennies and the pharmacist said they were also safe to use in pregnancy.

We went to nhs antenatal classes last week and are still laughing about them now. the woman leading them was from Australia and she kept saying "put your hands on your vagoina, girls. You too, fellas, put your hands on your partner's vagoina" and she wouldn't let anyone finish a question. I tried to ask about raspberry leaf tea, and she was like "oh, no. Intercourse, that's what you want. Intercourse." I wanted to say "well if i could convince my husband to have intercourse i wouldnt need the bloody tea" but of course i didn't.
and the worst bit was, there was a muslim couple at the back of the room, neither spoke very clear english, and he was trying to ask a question. the instructor wouldn't let him finish and was like "Intercourse, that's what you want. Intercourse. " but actually it turned out that his question was about pre-eclampsia. He was not amused.

So does anyone know when and how to take the tea?
