Hi all,
JUst thought I'd pop in to say I had a 4d scan yesterday and it was fab!!
Baby was in a really good position, and got some lovely pics. He wouldn't take his thumb away from his mouth though.
Am really excited now and can't wait to meet him.

Hiya
Just checking in. OH hasn't made amends, but somehow it isn't bothering me today ... either that or I am just being really good about not letting the tears start ...
DS1 had his artwork displayed at a competition, and we went to view it yesterday afternoon. I am so proud of him, even if he didn't win, and then last night I helped all evening (about 3 hours) with the Halloween Disco and this morning, DS1 had to visit his prospective middle school as he transfers next year, and I walked all the way there, and back - good 25 min walk there, but longer coming home because of some mountains ....
BH seem to be quite strong too, so hope it is the start of something, but probably not. This is the OVERDUE CLUB, afterall !
Now off in the car to fetch DS1.0 -
This is the OVERDUE CLUB, afterall !
hey! Im not going to go overdue!
heres me, checking in... had a VERY productive morning... did a car boot sale, sold near enough everything and made a fat wad of cash,
the only problem is now im absolutely exhausted, im sat here having my lunch then ive been promised a back rub from my lovely OH, then im going to squeeze in a nice nap before my sister brings DD home and we have to get ready to go to the fireworks display!
and Danny has hiccups again (im not kidding, he must get them for about 15 minutes at a time at least twice a day!)

Hi me again still a member of the pudding club!
Went to maternity ward today to be monitored and still not even ready for a sweep at term plus 12 !!!!! BB fine though - obviously just comfortable in there.
Consultant seemed to be better this time and has realised my objections to unneccesary interventions (due to my medical history as the last induction brought along a full scale emergency cs) so was happy to recommend more monitoring from monday - scan first though so I get to see bb up close!
Am hoping the fireworks this weekend bring it on though - I'd rather see my baby in person.
Good luck to the other members of the overdue club - here's hoping.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Ah, CG the sunroof has an unfair advantage ...
and tsstss7, I seriously can't believe your body is showing no signs yet. Remind, me if this your first ? and mazcabs & shazy, here are some gentle labour vibes for you all.
And apart from the middleman, who is due today, the rest of us haven't quite reached the other side yet .... but we are an impatient lot:D0 -

Has anyone used one of these at home? Ive just bought one (half the price they are in argos for) thinking it would be great but my partner and dd looked at me like I was mad:p bet they dont think that when they can hear the heartbeat. Really bought one for reassurance and when i had dd ( 14 years ago) there was nothing like this around then.19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0

Hello all
Sorry at the mo I don't have the energy to read all the posts so Congrats to any newbies that have joined!! Don't think there has been any births since I last caught up.
I'm going to have a moan, I was signed off with an ear infection for the past 2 weeks and now I have been back to doc my blood pressure is slightly low which isn't helping with the balancing and room spinning situation, so signed off again til 12th!! Never mind hopefully I'll be on themend soon.
Labour vibes to those in dyer need :dance:Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

I haven't bought one as I knew it would freak me out if I couldn't find the hb myself but just wanted to say i know what you mean about things changing in last few years. i spend my whole time going "They didn't have that when my two were born", "You couldn't do that when my two were born", "It wasn't like that when I was pregnant before"
I'm only 33 (with DS - 13 and DD - nearly 9) but sometimes it feels like I was last pregnant in the dark ages!0 -
