Sadie - You should have a number somewhere that you can call to speak to a MW, as one will have taken over from yours as she's on hols. They'll be able to answer questions and help with any fears. Don't be afraid to ask for what you need from the stand in MW. Let her know how important it is for you to have this scan now as you have worked out you could be giving birth in 3 weeks. If that fails then make a Doc's app and speak with them.
Also if you have a bigger baby then surely the EDD would come forwards anyway. The EDD can change. Good luck. xxxBaby Ember

Congratulations Millionaires and Ophie.
Sounds like a horrible time for you Sadie. Keep pestering.
Thanks for all the advice about spots in front of eyes. Had my BP checked day before it happened and it was fine. How quickly can BP change?
Latest problem is pain from hip down back of thigh. Only on right side. Does that sound like SPD or is it something else do you think. I'm only 21 weeks so a bit early for SPD.Baby Boy due 4/3/08

Doobees - sounds more like sciatica. It's when the baby is resting on the sciatic nerve. As soon as the baby shifts then it should stop hurting.
Also BP can change quick quickly depending on what's happening in your body. For instance if you stand up quickly then it can change, which is why you can feel dizzy and get spots in front of your eyes. It's a good idea if you can take thing slowly. Like if you are getting up then do it in stages and slowly - it's almost like deep sea divers waiting at certain intervals to acclimatise to the pressure. xxxBaby Ember

Yes , I agree. I had sciatica when pregnant with my younger daughter.Had 20 week scan today. Everything is fine. Strong heartbeat. Everything in the right place. Baby boy.
Starting to feel more real now. He is kicking VERY well - incessantly at times.
However I'm still not showing and still have AA boobs!! Can't wait to look pregnant as well as feel pregnant.
My daughter is 14 + 3 and has a little bump already!
When did you first feel him kicking?Same old same old since 20080 -
Felt him kicking at 17+2. Just a flutter to start with but kicking hard enough for my husband to feel by 18+4.Baby Boy due 4/3/08

Contractions started at about 1.30 am after having the biggest show in the world - seriously had no idea there could be so much haha - sorry for tmi.
Was going swimmingly until a couple of hours ago and things have really slowed. Going to try a bit of nipple stimulation to see if we can kick start things again. Very crampy and my back is killing me - just need to quicken the contractions.
In no rush though as I remember Emma going through this for a few days before the arrival so trying to take it bit by bit and not get too excited.0 -

With my younger daughter I had a show on the Friday morning, went into hospital and nothing much was happening so they put me on a ward. Just trying to get to sleep at midnight and my waters broke (Mr Sheel had just got to my Mum's house and gone to bed when the hospital rang and told him to come back!) and my daughter was born at about 6am Saturday.
Hopefully the contractions will speed up and this time tomorrow you'll be celebrating the birth of your new baby :j
Best of luck , will keep checking here to see how you've gone onSame old same old since 20080 -
