Congrats to Ophie, she is gorgeous. Enjoy being a new mummy!
Feeling really down today. Spent most of yesterday at hosp. Went for review after being sent there 3 weeks ago due to baby measuring too large for dates. Firstly, got my blood results wrong again, didn't note my bp or urine in my notes. When saw doctor, she measured me a whole 5cm bigger than when saw mw on Friday! I know I haven't put on that much weight in 3 days so someone measuring wrong! Asked me to wait for an emergency scan as baby is very big. Sat around all afternoon to then be told that need to go back in 3 weeks when 37+6 for scan as they can not fit me in before then. Really worried they will find something wrong, but what happens if it is too late by then!?
Sorry for being on a downer ladies but just feel like they don't know what they are doing at the hosp and mw seems more concerned about her holidays. x0 -
Sadie - I'm sorry that you're feeling down. It sounds as though you haven't been treated very fairly at all.
Is there any way that you could be on a cancellation list for a scan? A bit of pester power might not go amiss, until you get what you want. What does the MW say?
I hope that it starts going better for you. xxxxBaby Ember

My regular mw is on holiday this week, next appt is home visit on 4th Nov. Really not sure what to do. Just worried that if baby is too big at scan, what happens then? Think that my date is wrong anyway, have done since beginning of pg. Mw just keeps telling me to go by official EDD from hosp. Just worried that might be too late to do anything in 3 weeks as I work my due date to be around then.0
