Hello everyone,
Sorry haven't posted in a while - the lovely long post I did disappeared so not happy there. Funnily enough, they all saved on the anal bleaching thread
Firstly, congrats Agutka! Lovely name for your little man too.
Fac73 - hang in there - I'm sure you'll be soon
Joe-Millionaire (well, Mrs M) - good luck to you too -hope we hear some news soon from you.
3kids - hope you are feeling a little more positive, and good luck with the threadworm kid!
I'm fine, although did go into meltdown a bit at the start of the week. I work part time from home -was originally fine as did the bulk of it when my son was at nursery, and I could do the occasional evening. Now the company is expanding there is more time sensitive stuff when ds is about and to cut a very long story short, I handed my notice in on Tuesday and feel SOOOOOO much better for it. I will now be able to take the full time on maternity leave which wasn't practical before, which I am so looking forward to.I looked at the figures before I did the deed, and bizarrely we will be better off MA wise etc (I was only going to get this anyway) so happy there too. Also will be able to do all the decorating that needs doing (as in paint peeling off lounge walls rather than to look fancy) rather than getting someone in as I have to work.
Still being sick (over my feet in the shower yesterday, sorry if tmi), which I was hoping would have passed by nearly 22 weeks, but judging by some of us (CG) it could be worse. On a good note I have been approved to deliver at Poole not Bournemouth due to my asthma which I'm pleased about - they are lovely at Bournemouth but only midwife led unit so didn't want to get transferred in the middle, especially after birth no.1.
So sorry about the waffle!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0 -
Hi all,
I now realise how huge I must look, have started having strangers ask when I am due! They all look shocked when I tell them I have nearly 6 weeks left! Saw mw again today, still measuring big for dates and have grown by 4cm in a fortnight! Feel now like a ball with legs!Have started to waddle instead of walking, feel like in one of those old films when they wear the barrel on straps!
Although when I went into chemist for prescription, lady behind the till looked at me funny and asked if I had any proof that I was pregnant! Felt like saying 'I'm just naturally this round' or something to that effect, but chose not to.

i am 10+6 and havent been sick in a whole week. at first it was great but now worried this could be abad thing and maybe means something in wrong. advice please ladies!!
I would also echo about being grateful about not being sick. I was regularly sick up until 20 weeks, and then at least once or twice a week up until the end of my second trimester.
Now in the third trimester I feel nauseas every night and sick about once / twice a week, but for the last two weeks or so, (sorry tmi) thrown up every night. I am sick of it.
MW dropped of HB kit (small little package that I am not allowed to open) and a tonne of paperwork yesterday, so this LO has my full permission to exit any time soon. We tested the birthpool on Sunday, and it did not deflate overnight. Mine and baby's hospital bags are packed (incase we have to transfer) so now I am ready. I have even slept lots in the past two days, just to try and restore some of my energy (I was shattered after my last day at work on Wed).0 -
Hello All,
I can't believe how fast this thread moves. Joined last week and it has taken hours to read through everything that has happened since!
Had 20 week scan today. Everything is fine. Strong heartbeat. Everything in the right place. Baby boy.
Starting to feel more real now. He is kicking VERY well - incessantly at times.
However I'm still not showing and still have AA boobs!! Can't wait to look pregnant as well as feel pregnant.
Earlier I cam over all funny, suddenly had spots in front of my eyes and had to sit down quickly. Any ideas?Baby Boy due 4/3/08
We've completed on flat purchase
Moving in Saturday 12th Jan 08

just one more way of making you feel completely crap!
let me give you all an example of MN having a laugh at my expence....
im 37 weeks, officially 'full term', baby is measuring a good 2 weeks ahead of that though,
so technically i could deliver tonight or it could be in FIVE WEEKS!!
its just not funny0 -
Nothing from Fac today?!?
CG, I bet as soon as you give birth you will miss being pregnant :rotfl:
Doobees, don't want to worry you....BUT my MW always asked me about blurred vision/spots when I had high BP as it could be a sign of pre-eclampsia . Don't hesitate to call your MW if you are at all concerned.
PS: I know I've technically been booted out of this Club but I so like to break rules
