  • my DS2 is now 5mnths old and i wish i had known about this thread before. He was my 3rd so if anyone has any problems they'd like to talk or ask about chances are i've had an experience of it so feel free to pm (no matter how silly you think it is). I've just posted a squidoo that blooming mums may find useful on breast pads http://www.squidoo.com/homemadebreastpads/ in england the price to make about 6 works out as a quid. Let me know if you have any sucess making them.

Awww, Septemberbaby, poppy is lovely, what a gorgeous baby. :p
  • Just been for our first 4D scan (the package we booked was a two-parter) and it was fab! Baby is definitely a boy and was kicking and moving before yawning a few times, tucking an arm behind his head and snuggling into the uterine wall to go to sleep. Very much looking forward to the second one in four weeks as the sonographer says we will notice a big difference. Oh, and in one picture the baby is the spitting image of our DS the day he was born - same nose and mouth!

My Mum says the photos are "weird and creepy" though!

CG, no it's not only the Americans, they sell the same thing but branded as willywigwams over here - friend got them as a gift and i thought it was hilarious. Though apparently they didn't really use them, they just got weed on instead :)
www.willywigwams.com and twice the price of the US version!

    Hi all

Congrats to all who produced whilst I was away. Golly, I don't get on here for a few weeks and everything changes.

Just back from our Oct break hols in Stirling-shire. Really enjoyed spending time with the family and feel as if ds2 has finally bonded with us after 14mos! He's full of hugs and kisses now instead of just being so bad tempered and screaming all the time. DH mentioned he was worried about his behaviour too so hopefully we have turned a corner now.

Into wk 14 now. Got a dating scan on Friday so will know more then. Next week I will have to tell my boss I am pg again after only just coming back of ML on 22/8!!

Still got problems with my back. The pain has decreased but has moved to right side and down the bum and back of leg area. Have decided to give up my 2nd job stacking shelves as it is only going to aggravate it and prevent recovery. Will manage financially somehow.

Finally got one pg symptom - sore boobs! I can deal with that no probs. Thankfully no ms yet and I'm hoping I've bypassed it.

    Love to all.

I am going for my big scan tomorrow so then at least i can stop calling my baby egg and at least say this is my son or daughter, not what oh wants to call it if its a boy which is haratio:rolleyes: i apologise now if thats what anyone intends to name their baby. Im looking forward to getting to know you all better

  • hmmn.... back ache and period style pains since last night, rock hard bump....
add to that that this would be the most inconvienent weekend to go into labour,

I could be onto something here! lol

naaah, im not really expecting this to turn into anything, would be nice... but im not that lucky!

You could go from being my due date buddy to Danny being five weeks old before I've even given birth!! Seriously though, good luck if this is "it" :D :j

I'm full of cold.. again and real fed up with it, although on a good note I tried one of those gym balls at the parentcraft class the other day and loved it so went and bought one from Argos for £4.99! They are sooo comfy I can't get off mine and baby feels and looks lower down already! :T

I told "Bump" not to come out last night because of the rugby and he/she obeyed so that's a good start!! :rotfl: but anytime from now is fine by me! ;)

Hope to hear from the people who were due but have disappeared soon, hope everthing is well with everyone else. SB - Poppy is beautiful.. makes me all the more impatient to meet mine!

If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.
    ROCK IT DON'T STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny is still up to no good in there though, bump is acting very strangely  permenantly solid, and going funny shapes... like he popped out and turned sideways,
