Hi, i need to rejoin the pudding club.

I was on the 1st list, and my little boy was born on the 18/10/06, so will be one next week, and i am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant again. We went for our 1st scan yesterday and all was looking well, so i thought i had best come and join.

I am not having as easy a time of it as last time. I've just been off work sick all week with bad morning sickness, and i must have eaten 8 packets of ginger nuts in the last 3 weeks. I have just bought some different things today to try, and will report back if anything helps me.

well done to all those recent arrivals! Must be something in the air this week!

I was in hosp for 24hours this week as bp up and drs feared poss pre eclampsia, but allowed home now. Twins now 36+3 weeks, and we are now booked in for section (had 2 previous ones) on wed 17th when i am 37weeks exactly.

Can't wait to get them out, as womb measurement now 48cm ha ha (apparantly still normal for twins!) was 40cm (full term size ) from 30wks onwards, so am soooooo achy and fed up with lugging them around now.
Mind you, guess i should make the most of these last few days of freedom before there are 2 little newborns to cope with.

Hubby keeps telling me now to stay calm for the rugby-doesn't want to have to rush to hosp mid match!

Will mail and update when out of hospital which may be a while!!!

Good advice to keep calm. A friend of my mum's had twins about 3 years ago - she jumped up to cheer a goal by David Beckham and her waters broke. They went to the hospital (which luckily she lives next door to) and both baboes were born before half time! She had another little girl this year and basically said to her OH "I think the baby's coming" A few minutes later her OH had to catch said baby as she arrived.

So go put your feet up and definitley don't get up to cheer at any point!

My god he finally arrived - mind you they needed to get him out with a crow bar. Did everyone due around the end of September all give birth on Sunday 7th then? I think I beat September baby by about an hour. We have just left hospital today after a week being looked after by some lovely women who kept feeding me drugs (it was like being in the Anti-Priory:rotfl: ) Rowan spent a couple of days in intensive care - but everything is ok now and we are very happy to be home and all in one piece.

How did everyone elses labours go?

i had an awful week last week. 1st i went 2 get a maternity support belt from mothercare and they had none in my size, then my car brake line broke on the way back so brakes were very dodgy but got home in 1 piece. ordered a maternity belt on line and wos told to measure round the biggest part of bump, this wos on tuesday and measured 44 inches:eek:, belt arrived on friday and wos too small :eek:. rang them up and measured myself again, i nearly fell over when i measured 47 inches:eek:. now i'm just hoping it wos a growth spurt cos i'm only 26 weeks now. been having loads of peeps telling me i must be due soon, oh and 1 asked if i wos a hippo or elephant.

all this plus the SPD i'm having a great time lol
