Hi everyone
Quite a stressful weekend, despite trying to relax. Kids have been an absolute pain. Had a bit of back ache but not too much pain after amnio. Hopefully will get results this afternoon. Will keep you updated.
Good luck Agutka.now mum of 4!!!0 -
Hi all,
Baby's movements really changed at the weekend and I got quite worriedI normally get regular kicks and movement but it changed to long periods of nothing and then a flurry of activity so I decided to call the midwife this morning, she said that as long as I'm getting 10 kicks per day then everything is fine. If any less than 10 then I'm to call the hospital to be monitored. Anyway she put my mind at rest, then I log onto the pc to find an e-mail from Mothercare saying:
"Nearing the end of pregnancy, the placenta’s resources start to diminish. The movements from your baby may also start to lessen as there’s now very little room for manoeuvre in there."
So I feel a bit of a pratt now!!!:rotfl:
Good luck Agutka, hope everythings gone well for you and good luck with your scan Douggie. Got my fingers crossed for you 3kids.
Congratulations to Sarah and sending labour vibes to Fac and anyone else who needs/wants them.
Baby feels quite low today, lower than before, but bump doesn't seem to have droppedah well, got cot arriving today so I'm getting all excited!! :j :j

woo hoo, our baby has all the bits in the right place, right size (legs slightly ahead of the dates!) and we're having a boy
Now to argue over which football team he'll support....0 -
Well amnio results came back OK. Just gotta wait 3 weeks for indepth results when they analyse for any things that shouldn't be.
It's what I wanted to hear, but now i am overwhelmed with guilt for having the test. What if i lose the baby now?
We are having a boy too - gonna tell the kids later. Trying to think positive.
But every ache and pain makes me worry now.now mum of 4!!!0 -
fingers crossed for you 3kids - did they say when the danger of miscarriage would pass? It's only natural to worry about things, but you've got to hope for the best rather than expect the worst. Will keep everything crossed for you though0

Well done douggie!
3kidsnomoney - well done too on the result. Why don't you call the doctor/hospital contact tomorrow and ask when the danger period for miscarriage after an amnio is? I'm sure I've read that it may be before you get the results through so that period may have passed. They should be able to put your mind at rest a bit.Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0 -
Hi all, just saw this posted on babycentre website and thought it was fantastic so thought i'd post it here incase no-one had seen it. Its a tool to time your contractions, dead easy. I've just had a go for a practice.
just select 'start timing contractions' at the top of the page.
