And last but not least, congrats to all the newbies!!! :j
I was just going to update The List but an old one must have been used as sarahh112 and Rowan now missing!?! . Too tired to sort it out at the mo :rotfl:. Maybe someone could work out what has gone wrong for me?
Poppy is doing really well and is like an alarm clock waiting for her 4 hourly feeds! I can't imagine my life without her now and she is so worth the wait. She was born exactly 24 hours and 17 mins after setting foot in the hospital being completely zero cm dilated! My waters were broken at 6:30am and I eventually had an epidural at 10:30am after 3 (yes, THREE) attempts! Gas & Air and diamorphine didn't quite to the trick.
Unfortunately baby was in real distress and required a few procedures performed on her whilst still in the womb. Eventually I had planned forceps delivery (and therefore some painful stitches!) and Poppy was born at 7:47pm. The doctor later told DH that the whole medical team assumed I would require a C-section but were more than happy to be proved wrong! :T

3Kids I felt very similar after my cerclage was put in as that carries risk of miscarriage through infection. Every twinge bothered me and then it climaxed when I rang my dad about bad heartburn making me sick to go to the hospital. I started to realise that the worry was making it worse. I've now stopped worrying - it doesn't help.£4000 challenge
Currently leftover - £3872.150 -
nicola1982 - Hi, i know worrying doesn't help. I wish i was one of those people who didn't worry!!! I feel as though I just want to go to sleep until my baby is born at the end of February and then i will know if he is healthy.
I know that if something is wrong when my baby is born then i will think that it is because of the amnio and blame myself. Wish I could go back to this time last week and not have the test. Am surprised that the hospital doesn't rescan women to check that all 'looks' well.
I see you are due a month before me - hope you are feeling OK. Never heard of a cerclage, but am presuming it is something to do with the cervix (????). Is this your first child?
Glad everyone is back, this site has been really quiet recently.now mum of 4!!!0 -

im SO done with this!0 -
Same here! All I ever seem to do is moan and winge! I'm sure everyone else is fed up of hearing about the heartburn, backache, cramps, etc, etc, etc
as much as I am of hearing myself! Can't wait for the next few weeks to fly by then I can find a whole new set of things to moan/winge/worry about!
