  • Where can i put my name down to reserve a birth just like that please? :D

awww zoomy, if i had known you were on i could have kept you company! my sleeplessness stepped up a gear last night and for a change it didnt really involve heartburn (shock)
i just could not get comfy, not in any position... everything hurt no matter how i tossed and turned... and i must of come downstairs to use the loo about 6 times
if it happens again tonight then i shall be making a bed on the sofa because apparently thats the only place i get any restful sleep these days!

ohh... and im on the lookout for a replacement raincover for my pram,
its a proper 3 in 1 carrycot and for some reason places like mothercare think its ok to charge £25 for a bit of plastic to cover it
there are one or two new ones on ebay but they seem pricey for what it is too... any ideas??

Hi CG - I am just about to see if I can fit myself and bump into the shed to get some barbies for my toddler group (best not to ask) - I think I have my one from last time that I'm not going to use again (pram gone mouldy). Will confirm later but don't know how to get it to you from Bournemouth? By the time the post is sorted Danny will be walking anyway.....
Will let you know if I make it out alive.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My last day of freedom and they've stolen three hours out of it. I was just supposed to go into the hospital to get my BP checked, it was fine yesterday and fine today. But of course they wanted to monitor baby as well, except the little monkey wouldn't stop moving, so the monitor kept losing the heartbeat and they wouldn't let me go until the computer was happy with the results! What a waste of time really...
Except at one point the baby got hiccups. Which was a new one to me and so cute! Made my belly and all the attachments jiggle. I was trying to be helpful 'drink some amniotic fluid upside down' :p

Worst thing is they gave me a leaflet about induction and now I am very scared about tomorrow! It does not sound good...
And to top it off, mother is on her way, so I am stressed out. Check my BP now, I dare you!
    :wall:
  • Agutka - I hate the monitor. I remember the first time I was in hospital they woke the woman in the next bed at 1am to put the monitor on her for 2 hours. And didn't even turn it down. She was so tired and fed up.

Agutka, is there no way somebody can say that the best thing for you is just OH there, as your blood pressure is suffering?

    thanks and good luck! :D
your bloody braver than me.... i dont even like going near the shed!
spiders in my shed are always 4 times the size of house spiders... and you should see the size of the f**kers that have been roaming around here like they own the place this summer!
one was so big when OH threw it out it ran back up the drive and hammered on the door! :rotfl:

your bubba never had hiccups before??
blimey.... Danny gets them about 4 times a day! :D the first time it happened it felt like my bajingo was ticking and i was preggo with a time bomb!!
some of his are so strong now that you can see my stomach jumping with every hiccup from across the room! lol
