Congratulations Squashy!
I'm pretty sure that kind of birth is what I had written on my birth plan... ho-hum.

Congratulations squashy. Ideal birth by the sounds of it I hope to model my own on yours!!
I managed to sleep last night without heartburn (woohoo!). Not sure what I did differently. I was lying on the sofa and I had some mad pains though. I think perhaps these are the practice contractions i read about. Felt like the 'poo pain' contractions I used to get with IBS!
Then I got all panicky cos someone said I shuldn't be lying on my back anymore - is this right?? I sleep on my side (both I am such a figet). but when watching telly i sometimes like on my back on the sofa and when I first get in bed I lie on my back while my OH rubs the bio oil in. Should I not be doing this??
Anyway labour vibes for all you ladies who are due (and overdue!). Keep us posted!!0 -
congratulations to all new mums and babies!
This talk about bras is scaring me!!!! I am already 34H (not pregnant yet) and get problems finding bras as it is. So, with pregnancy when my boobs will grow (maybe not? ) what will I be able to find then!!!!! They are now huge and heavy, what will I do later then???!!!!!
maybe this baby is not such a good idea...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

I am a 36F (pre pregnancy). Before I got pregnant I went to get measured in M&S and they said I was a 44b!! I wore this size for about 6 months with all manor of pain. In the end I went to Bravissimo and they were amazing. Boobs lifted bras that fit. Oh it was heaven!
I am 28 weeks now and my boobs are no bigger yet - my back is a little though. I went to Primark and bought some cheap £3 bras in a 40F and I am wearing them on a tighter hook so I can let it out gradually. I have no problems with the underwires. I also bought 2 non wired bras from mothercare but i hate them. Havign big boobs means any bras with no wires in will be wide vertically between the breasts (o)l(o) that way up. This means if I wear anything with a V neck you can see the top of my bra and I hate it. I am not having trouble with the underwires at all if I don't wear it too tight across my back.
Hope this helps. A lot of women's boobs hurt and stuff though I have been fine so far (touch wood). I am wearing a soft cup as they dont sell cheap moulded ones in primark in large sizes. Just dont get anything lacy - oh the nipple chaffing is NOT fun!!0 -
Congratulations Squashy! May this be the start of a trend for 'easy labours'...0

funnily enough this happened to me pre pregnancy - about a year ago I went to m&s and got measured and they upped my chest size and downed the cup size....I tried on the size they told me I was and it felt so uncomfortable I left without buying...have since been to an independant lady who actually tries the bra on you as it is not as simple as all that and you can be different sizes according to the fit of the bra.
Anyway I cant go to her for my nursing bra as she would have to order off the tape measure (as I am a 38-40 h at the mo) and I wont ever buy a bra without trying it on ..not for £36.00! So does anyone know of anywhere I can go for one and will be able to try it on first or at least return it if it doesn't fit? M&S don't have them in my size and Contessa here dont do maternity.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good day.
Been for amnio this morning. Feeling really rubbish and very weepy at the mo. Only time will tell if I have done the right thing. Baby is still moving which is a good sign. Should get results back early next week providing no-one in the lab drops it or anything daft like that. OH being helpful - but not sure how long this will last.
I have become quite addicted to this site and love to read what you have all been up to, great to have people to 'talk' to who are pregnant and can offer unbiased adviced because you don't know me.now mum of 4!!!0 -
