Whoo hoo! 2nd October is here and no baby. I've done it, now we wait for the vernix to disappear completely (making baby less slippery) and for the baby to plump up nicely. Wonder if I will go into labour naturally...
I was singing 'happy technical birthday' to the bump earlier, much to hubby's confusion, who thinks I'm only 38 weeks :rolleyes:.

Had a nightmare last night, just to make it more interesting. I had lost this baby and went on holiday to recuperate, where I got pregnant with twins and had to start all over again!! I was wondering whether to see a doctor or go to my 40 week appointment with the midwife with my flat tummy!! :eek: As you can imagine the bump got a big fat hug when I woke up. Scary.

Hope SB checks in soon with her story. I'm sure she's done it, her baby was just waiting for October after all...:D

I'm still here.....the pains stopped last night and haven't come back! :eek: I'm so disappointed! :rolleyes: I just know she is now waiting for my birthday on Thurs although I've told her often enough I want her to have her own day!

Oh, I was really hopeful for you! I had slow labours with both of mine and I remember how frustrating and tiring it was:o

hi all
this is my second pregnancy, already have DS 4yrs, weve been told this one is a girl :j. sick of trying to find cheap maternity clothes as i dont want to pay alot for something to last 8wks (approx), the things i had bought are now too small as i have ballooned! so any suggestions of where to find would be appriectiated. i need a good winter coat, no where seams to sell them for pregnant women.
I have had to change my GP as the midwife said she didnt have enough cover to assist in the home birth i have requested!

so all being well i will have a home birth and find some winter clothes!!

Congratulations to everyone who has delivered, and good luck to all who are due and trying!
