 Ooooh, Emma, I've gone all goosebumpy for you. I am sure things have really started for you, and it will all be over very soon.
And it definitely looks like Sarah is missing in action, too (so 2 out 3 on the same day isn't too bad either, especially since [strike]you ladies [/strike]your babies have kept us waiting 17 days.
On a personal note, I went for my bloods again today (32+4), so fingers crossed I am no longer as anaemic as I was before. Those bloody iron tablets are the pits, and I am going to have to miss one tomorrow:cool: , because things are geting a little bit difficult  , ifykwim ! I don't think I will be able to escape taking them until the end of the pg, but I do hope my levels are up a bit, because I don't feel as dog tired as I was about a month ago !0 -
I was really expecting to be told i was so tired thanks to anemia at my last appointment, but nope...
im just knackered!

Hi Pink Princess and congratulations! :j Blimey a 14 year gap, I bet it does feel like starting all over again, but how lovely.
You're due just before me but I have my scan next Monday so I expect that my date will change. Doesn't Next March/April seem so far away! But I only realised earlier that it's only 6 months
I'm getting excited about my first scan next week and meeting baby for the first time, plus I can then tell my nan that I'm expecting. She'll be so excited because she was a midwife and such a loving maternal person and I'm the first of the grandchildren to have a baby and I don't think any of them thought I would have a baby (for one reason or another).
Also my aunt is a midwife at the hospital I plan to have the baby at so maybe that'll come in handy.
Anyway I'm kind of waffling a bit now.
Good Luck Emma, hope it all happens soon.:j Mom of 1-Erin Louise born 11.4.08:j0 -

Just thought I'd add myself to the list - I've just had my 12 week scan today and am due on 29th March 08. Its my 2nd -but my dd is nearly 14 so it feels like my first:eek: Good luck to all those due now and am looking forward to swapping stories with those due around the same time:p
I felt like that with my second too. My ds1 is 7 now but going through it all again just 6yrs later felt like the first time. Enjoy it. I'm pg for the third time now which will leave a gap of about 20mos between ds2 and this one and right now, it feels very routine. Not excited at all sadly.0 -

I know how you feel, I was prescribed 3 tablets a day to get my iron levels up from 9.5. Well, I was prescribed 3 a day .... but only took one along with lots of dried apricots and this did the trick for me and got me up to 10.2. If you can stand them, prunes are good for keeping things ... erm...moving!"Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0 -
Just updating the list as an old was was used!!!
Going to catch up with the thread now as been out for most of the day!

What do you think of these fetal dopplers I've heard of?
Has any of you got one?
Would you recommend one?
Thanks:j Mom of 1-Erin Louise born 11.4.08:j0 -
Emma!!!!!!!
Hope you are coping OK. Looking forward to you logging on with the good news!
No Sarah?!?
Congrats, Pink Princess!

Just had my 38 week check up and everything is fine and normal (even my chest sounds clear, so honey and lemon it is...) but I am very disappointed/confused why I did not hear phrases like 'engaged'. Just that baby is not breech. Surely somebody's head should be moving somewhere, rather than floating... Where did I put all those pregnancy books!!?
The doc did smile and mention that with first babies it is usual to go overdue. Thanks, news to me. I'm going to be part of october's squatter saga. Which is fine, cause I want to have it on the 10th anyway!
Personally I haven't heard a single 'haven't you had it yet', but everyone is really nice to me!

I'm so pleased I have only just logged in. I would have been pacing all day and worn the carpets out. Now its just all night.
Septemberbaby, please remember that as soon as you get home you MUST log on and update us so I can stop pacing.
Good luck both of you if you are both dropping!!!I saw two shooting stars last nightI wished on them but they were only satellitesIs it wrong to wish on space hardwareI wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0
