thank you both, I honestly don't remember the last time I felt this good :j pregnancy at times just feels like a constant stream of worrying, doesn't it? To have a day like today feels like a real treat.

SB, that's exciting about your scan :j The pictures of the 4D ones make it SO tempting and I love the idea of a bit of early bonding

oooooh, september!
we are having a 4D scan but havent tried to book it yet, I know your probably in a different area to me but did you have any trouble getting in?

we dont want to leave it too long before we book but it seems weird to phone up this early (cant have it done until 26 weeks + and im only 17 weeks!)

We booked it today as cheque from MIL has cleared

We were offered quite a few dates but booked the one we did as its at 8pm so family can come and watch too! They actually have extra seating and a mounted screen for the 'audience'! :eek:

CG, I would make enquiries now and have them send you out some brochures or pop in and see some sample photos.

Fac, I'm sure you will cave in and throw MSE caution to the wind, especially as your son was so co-operative today!

Blimey, I didn't realise about extra seating for guests at 4d scans! Do they provide popcorn as well, LOL

Thanks for the advice folks, you guys are fab! A workmate sat me down today and told me she thinks I am doing too much, OH spent last night shouting at me for 'trying to prove a point' and several other people have mentioned how terrible I look, so either there's some sort of conspiracy or maybe I ought to be slowing down a bit ... I'll think about it.
