Ow ow ow ow. Do Braxton Hicks hurt?? I know it's supposed to be a 'tightening' but honestly! Woke me up this morning and it took all my strength to sit up.
And now I think the baby is changing position... My bump used to be a nice round shape, today you can see a baby bum/back travelling across it... Which is ever so uncomfortable! Hope he's not turning breech!!
    :wall:
  • Morning all, checking in still here lol!!

Agutka, I have had some really painful Braxton Hicks and although they say that babies head is down I can see his/her feet and bum moving from side to side too. I'm at the stage that I wish it would just happen now tho knowing whats to come!!
They took my signature away!!!!

Hahaha, no, I just still can't tear myself away!

I'm slowly resigning myself to the fact that I am no longer pregnant , but I love hearing how everyone is getting on with their pregnancies, and get so excited when I hear someone has given birth!

    Me too! :o

Agutka - my Braxton Hicks didn't hurt at all during my first pregnancy but were just as painful as real contractions during my second pregnancy!! And I had them all the time during the night from about 20 weeks onwards!!!

Ooh, also, why are delivery suites so quiet? I'd have expected to hear women screaming, but I have yet to hear a peep. Starting to wonder if they just dope everyone up in my hospital...
oh no trust me you can hear the moans when you're there  Although some of time you'll realise it's cos they're coming from you ;)
I could hear some poor woman in another room through most of my labour...

    re: raspberry leaf tea Septemberbaby
I've been told that the tea isn't strong enough and to only get the tablets but not sure how true it is. As has been said it won't make baby come any sooner but there is some evidence that it can make second stage labour quicker.

I feel a bit lost on MSE now as I don't belong on here any more but this is always the first place I look...
