I followed advice of babycentre.co.uk :
It is very important not to use raspberry leaves until the last two months of pregnancy because of their stimulating effect on the uterus. Start with one cup of tea a day or one tablet and build up gradually to a maximum of four cups of tea or tablets daily.
Not really sure if it helped but needed to believe!
Not sure if anyone would be interested: Maternity and nursing bras are reduced in M&S - I got 2 for £3 each, very pretty and don't look like scaffolding:D0 -
when I say we are trying to conceive, I mean more like ready to conceive as in if it happens that's great, but not making a big deal out of it and taking away the romance of love making!!
ahhh the less stress approach, thats how ive done it both times
cant add much more than the other girls, re test in a few days and really r-e-a-l-l-y give that little strip a good looking at,
my first few positives were SO faint that someone just giving the test a quick look would have easily missed them
ive posted this pic before... but just to prove my point take a peep at this, believe it or not ALL of these are positive tests taken over the course of a week (and they didnt look any clearer or fainter in real life)
it took a clearblue digital literally spelling it out before either of us could get excited because the positive was almost not there!
good luck!
oh and your not an imposter... wether your sick to death of pregnancy, just starting out, adopting, TTC or are holding the bubba right now...if you wanna talk babies then this is thread for you!0 -
Hi septemberbaby, 3 cups a day from 35 weeks onwards should help.
It won't actually bring on labour but can help by making contractions more effective."Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0 -

Quick let's talk TMI!!! Men love that!
Oooh, I know... breasts. They say to get nursing bras in week 38 or something, BUT don't your breast blow up when your milk comes in? I'm just slightly concerned as I can still fit into my pre-pregnancy bras... so much so that I have started talking my breasts, explaining that they have a job to do soon, and they should really be getting ready...
*makes mental note* keep away from raspberry leaf tea, in fact stop walking past the raspberry bushes in the park, they're full of leaves!
Hey my hubby had a great day today. After last night's hospital excursion, he came home early today to get ready for some meeting. Just before he came home, my decorator blokie was explaining something about my new kitchen sink to me, managing to cut his thumb on the sharp metal... So much blood! He tried being brave, but in the end hubby had to go spend two hours in A&E with him, whilst they stitched his thumb back on! Wonder who's turn it is tomorrow . And how in the world is this guy gonna finish my kitchen one-handed (mum was laughing that maybe now he can start getting things right...).
As for me, I'm starting to feel like an elephant... walkies is getting hard if there are no benches around. Maybe going over my due date isn't such a clever plan after all...
Ooh, also, why are delivery suites so quiet? I'd have expected to hear women screaming, but I have yet to hear a peep. Starting to wonder if they just dope everyone up in my hospital...:wall:0 -
