Hiya Beaker - You poor thing. I was prescribed cyclizine and didn't find that it did much good. However I swore by vitamin B6 - High doses ( check your GP is happy first) I used to take 75mg a day ( 25mg x 3 a day) and it worked a treat. Bananas are also high in vit B6 and they were one of the foods I could tolorate.

Also have you not seen a Dr about it? Mine signed me off for nearly a month. I had no idea that tiredness can also make it worse - and to be honest I couldn't of worked.

Of course! I was 38E. I was a bit naughty buying 42F in the nursing bras as the lady said I need to get fitted just before or just after the birth as the size will change again but at £2 and £3 a go, I thought it was worth the risk! Not very MSE, I know but I couldn't let them stay on the shelf!

i paid £12 for two nursing bras in the sale at mothercare and was feeling pretty smug till i read about the ones you have been buying!

It was Helen that gave us the tip-off! Don't think I have ever seen a pair of knickers for £2 in M&S before, let alone a maternity bra in my size lol. I think my sandwich was more expensive :rotfl:.

Morning all, I am so peeved that the maternity bras aren't online!! Its a two bus journey to my nearest M&S and I am not risking going that far on my own lol. Still here anyway. Emma, Rachel any twinges??? And how's the green tea going Emma lol.

they only had 40, 42 and 44s in my M&S nursing bra sale so no good for me - there were loads though. I was told to get a couple of cheap nursing bras 2 cup sizes bigger to begin with and that's worked pretty well - there's no point getting measured until your milk comes in imo as mine didn't change at all until then and then it's quite likely that your back size will change within a few weeks as well.

Hi! Know how you feel about mat clothes too, I am into hubbies tracky bottoms and t-shirts and only wear my now tight mat clothes if I have to leave the house!!

Well, have been having some twinges last night - since 1am so am shattered.....I am guessing they were BH and they kept going till morning waking me up all the time. Then they just stopped Was getting worried because not much movement but some fizzy pop, chocolate, and ice has resulted in a few kicks and calmed me down..........even dd tapping my tummy now saying "come on baby buvver time to come out!" lol........Should be today but who knows?!

Glad to see everyone checked in and well this morning....not long now girls.....fingers crossed.

it didn't hurt - felt odd and it's never very comfortable when someone's got their fingers up yer chuff in a medical situation but wasn't painful, you're likely to bleed a little afterwards. And it didn't work for me but then nothing did hence the sunroof exit for my son...

There, I've admitted it. I am a big fat liar and have just now changed my EDD to what it really is... *ashamed*.
Feel much better now that I am no longer due on 30th September, but all the way on 2nd October. Helped me fall down the list too!
That's like NEXT MONTH! Ages yet...

My decorators and fitters etc promise they will be finished by Tuesday (miracles happen), then we have the boiler guy coming thursday and then all that's left are the carpets and the trivial little matter of moving back into our house... before the baby appears. And also, before I am totally unable to move.

And you think having a baby is tiring? I don't think I'll make it till Xmas. Can I please start listening to Xmas songs now? A little joy?
