dont feel guilty - i spend my time on the sofa (or internet!) when hubby at work ;) my fave thing is tea and biscuits and i am completely addicted to chocolate :o the walking is the onyl excercise i get.
i was told to sit and rest cos of bp a few eeks ago but it has been okay so i am able to go out - if bp was high though i would just be sat doing what you are doing!
im not obsessing about the weight thing just fantasising about the extensive wardrobe i used to have  (but always had Nothing To Wear :p )
after having a MC last year i said if i got pregnant again, as long as the baby and I were okay, sod everything else :D (i do try and remind myself of this when clocking up all the cellulite i now have  )

anyway lets get ready for the full moon - do we have to be outside for it to work :rotfl: it says it works similar to the pull of the tides, instead its the pull of the fluid or something
  • Hi Casper...my, you have been nesting!

Thanks septBaby,I can hear my nan saying "get on your hands and knees and scrub those skirting boards, otherwise that baby will never be the right way up!"

I feel such a wuss... how she ever delivered twins on nothing but a bit of deep breathing I'll never know!

Hi, I have just found your site while looking on how to have a baby on a budget. I have just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant(Unplanned) holiday Sangria!! I am already mum to 4 children, 14,5,3,& 2. I had an ectopic in July 02 and lost a tube, so I am blessed to have 2 other children. In March this year had a M/C(another unplanned, we seem to be extremely fertile!!) I know it sounds daft to some but I do believe in fate, so maybe this baby no 5 is just mean't to be. Any way enough of my rambling, any tips ould be good as the budget is tight due to a cut in hours at work. Thanks

Congratulations and welcome Kelsi-Blu - be sure to add yourself to our list.

I had an absolute terrible night last night. I have obviously come down with a cold. I have had a scratchy throat for a couple of days, and I wouldn't keep off the tissues yesterday, but acid reflux (?) really kicked in last night, and every time I laid down, I felt all nausea, and was even sick a few times. In desparation I eventually got up and tried some milk, but that didn't really help either, so even later I got up and went and sat in on the couch in the dark with a towel on top of me (in case), and as I was upright, I didn't feel the nausea and was able to drop off to sleep. Thank goodness.

Managed about an hour or so, and then I was cold, so went back to bed, and fortunately I was able to get back off to sleep, although it did take a bit of time.

I have to attend Day 2 of the most borning course in the world today. What took 8 hour to teach us yesterday - I could have learnt in an hour. And I have to do a repeat of this today, and tomorrow. Arrgh !!!!

Thanks izoomzoom, how do I add myself to the list??

  • Hello Kelsi-Blu,

The easiest way to add yourself is to cut and paste the whole list into a new message and then 'insert' yourself where appropriate!! You could change the text colour so we can spot you more easily.

Good luck with your pregnancy, casper xx

Congratulations Kelsi-Blu and good luck with the pregnancy!

Hope you feel better soon izoomzoom, sounds awful.

No, no baby yet emma! Unfortunately. Slight twinges this am but prob just imagining it, hoping! Have got my labour refresher this pm, wasn't sure I'd make it being 38+6!

Have a stupid question too (another one!). Does anyones bump hurt? After a mere 5-10 mins standing/walking cleaning etc I always get sore in the same place and sometimes it feels like there is a lump there. Nowhere else hurts. Is this normal and just the weight of the bump?

sometimes i feel like i have a stitch in my bump, if you know what i mean! after walking around. is this similar to what you are feeling? and i get a pulled muscle feeling if i have done too much too.
i am just going to midwife now, when she booked me in a was saying i wont be coming ill have had baby by then!! i had two painful BH last night (i think thats what they were, havent had any b4?!) but nothing else

anyone heard from sarahmoon - maybe the moon helped her?!
  • Hi emma and Rachel, no I'm still here lol!! Have just finished scrubbing the livingroom and kitchen, I'm panicing now about the house not being clean enough for my homebirth!

Rachel it sounds to me like a stitch, I've had a few recently and there really painful/uncomfortable.

Off to see the midwife just now see if she has anything exciting to tell me, doubt it though lol.
They took my signature away!!!!
