  • Hello all mums-to-be!

I have been away from this board too long....in the last 5 weeks have moved house, decorated babys room, husband is now starting on a conservatory at the back and my littleone is due 6 weeks today! :rotfl: Oh well if you can't beat 'em join 'em!

Yes, 9th october official c-section date all booked in . . . wow I'll be a mom of 2 soon and my son will be starting at pre-school 2 weeks today as well, where has the last 3 years gone?

I'm off to put my fat feet up with a cuppa and watch the rest of peppa pig, oh the miracle of sky tv! I'm making the most of being pregnant!

    Casper x x

Hi Casper...my, you have been nesting! :rotfl:

I would love to know the exact day of my baby's arrival (but not too sure about the C-section!). Hope everything is OK?

Emma I'm exactly the same and every niggle is "is this it!!", still here I'm trying to convince myself now that I'll go overdue or I'll drive myself (and my OH) mad!!! I've got the midwife tomorrow so hopefully she'll say something encouraging
They took my signature away!!!!
  • Emma just wanted to add that I tried a hot curry on Saturday and if you get heartburn have the gaviscon ready, I was in agony with heartburn all night after lol!!

I was told by a MW about the full moon thing too, apparently the labour wards are always full when it's the full moon! ;)

Congrats Alison and SIL, and your hamper looks great! :)

Just remembered reading about muslin cloths in your hamper - Tesco have packs of 5 on BOGOF at the mo, £3.70-ish! Good buy.

Maybe there's hope for us yet then?! Totally fed up with being hippo-esque, can walk no distance at all now without needing to sit down.....Don't know how you do all those mammoth 2 hour walks emma!

yesterday was first day that we didnt got walking all week and my legs were killing me!
we dont go hiking or anything just go for walks round the parks and things. keeps me out of the house and stops me cleaning! i havent had any swollen feet so i can still wear my trainers to walk round in - i have to have a bath when i get home though as i sweat way too much :o
am kind of hoping the walking is keeping me fit and might be helpful for labour or beyond - i have gained three stone in weight and am desperate to lose it otherwise i will have nothing to wear! i have gone through pregnancy with three pairs of trousers and a few tops (non maternity) that are beginning to gape at the seams and no longer meet my trousers in the middle!:o

have had no signs today i doubt the full moon will get me going but i hope so! :D

    good luck !!

That makes me feel sooo guilty lol! Well done you! I had all these good intentions but instead find myself on the sofa with choccy bickies and cbeebies!!!! To be fair I need to rest for my bp but diet could be better! I sooo long to wear my own clothes again and have some energy. Want to meet my little boy more tho' ;)

    Good luck everyone too...:j
