MSE pregnancy club II

I get a really painful stitch-type feeling at the bottom of my bump if I do almost anything these days - walking has now become a slow waddle and I've got a fair few weeks to go.

I'm relying on being overdue though as we've found somewhere to live and move in when I'm 36 weeks, how am I going to get everything ready for the baby?!

I am really pee'd off now. Just back from the midwife, my blood pressure is too high, my pulse is too fast, I have a temperature and their is blood and protein in my urine. Fan bl!!dy tastic, just what I wanted for the end of the pregnancy!

Sorry to hear that Sarah, as if you need more stress this nr to the end! Did she advise you to take it easy? Hope you feel better soon and bubs puts in an appearance sooner rather than later.

Rachel I have no choice lol!! OH is panicing and trying to get home really, told him I felt fine but he's insisting, I've to go get a bath and go to bed when he gets in and he'll take over with the other three kids, the only thing that is really worrying me now is that I've had a pounding headache since yesterday but hadn't related it to pregnancy at all.

Advice - do not google blood pressure in pregnancy when your told it is high, it will panic you lol.

I'm sure all will be fine.

Too late - I already googled blood pressure when mine was high!!! :eek: Talking to my friend helped though because she went through the same but worse, and had to go straight to hosp. She was strapped to monitors for a couple of hours a day because hers was too high. She now has a lovely dd.
I had a headache too with the high bp. When I phoned hosp they said I had to go in (1am on sunday am!) but again all was fine.
Do you go back for another check up soon? Hopefully it will settle down and be a blip, at least you are being well looked after by your hubby.
Take it easy, put feet up and try not to stress........easier said I know

Hi Ladies,

Thought I'd join up to this board as I'm in 'the club' :j

I'm 32 weeks and waiting on my next scan at 36 weeks to see if I have to have a c-section due to placenta pravia (sp).

If I don't have to have a c-section then I'm a bit worried about giving birth naturally as I have piles and am not sure of the best position to give birth!!!

Has anyone had any experience? I managed to miss them first time round :rolleyes:

Yikes, getting near the top now!

Bearing in mind we're having twins and unlikely to go full term, I reckon there's only another 15 or so births from that list before it's our turn!

Everything's ready though (bag packed, nursery complete etc.) - I'm even starting to think that I'm ready for it too. Although I'm sure that statement will come back to haunt me....
