Thanx for all those who posted back re the moses basket, I don't particularly like them so doubt I'll be using one. If I had to though for safety etc I would have.

I had a bad day today, was @ the beach with the dog and was throwing the ball in for him when my wedding and engaement ring came flying off!! Disaster!! I found my wedding ring straight off but with the tide only a foot away from being fully in I started to panic but in the end OH found it!! Sometimes they do come in useful!!
Then I was out with the dog on the field, where he meets all his doggie friends and they tear about like idiots!! They found a massive stick and decided my shins looked like a good place to aim for, so that is exactly what they did!!
So all in all I think someone had it in for me today!!

Anyway all is well now exact that my little angel inside thinks it's great to come awake just when I think about winding down for the day!! Is this the same for everyone?

although i can pretty much feel Danny all the time (he is a poker! lol)
apparently its because when your moving around your baby is being rocked in the womb which makes them sleepy, and also because your busy you may not noticed the little movements....
but when you sit down at the end of the day, the rocking stops, baby wakes up thinking "wth? woman....i was asleep!" and starts kicking, jabbing and acting like the next big footballer

my baby pokes her foot of elbow or knees out when im in bed, laid on side, so i wake up and change sides. this happens every hour or so and the novelty wore off very very quickly

when i lay on my left hand side my babe seems to put his feet down and does river dance on the mattress....

I will get my own back one day...

Hello all mums-to-be!

I have been away from this board too long....in the last 5 weeks have moved house, decorated babys room, husband is now starting on a conservatory at the back and my littleone is due 6 weeks today! :rotfl: Oh well if you can't beat 'em join 'em!

Yes, 9th october official c-section date all booked in . . . wow I'll be a mom of 2 soon and my son will be starting at pre-school 2 weeks today as well, where has the last 3 years gone?

I'm off to put my fat feet up with a cuppa and watch the rest of peppa pig, oh the miracle of sky tv! I'm making the most of being pregnant!

I am an Auntie to Baby Issac 6lb 14 ( does that make sense I thought there 14oz in a lb - oh well, ha ha. They are sleep deprived). Born at 10:00

Everyone is doing fab.

I've just read somewhere that a full moon is good for labour starting lol!!! Seemingly some hospitals put on extra midwifes for a full moon, something to do with the moon having the same affect on your amniotic fluid as on the tides. Could be some hope for us due soon??
