sounds like you are planning on beating me to it sarah!!
i had stomach ache this morning, like what i get the day before my period comes (i have heavy painful periods, havent missed them one bit!!:D ) but seems to have eased now so no joy for me today. its the not knowing what day thats doing my head in although i suppose not making plans and not knowing what im doing one day to the next might be good practice for becoming a mummy :rotfl:
good luck hun and hope all goes well for you if you are in labour - keep me posted!

i wouldnt try the oil, honestly the champagne had a similar effect as i imagine the oil would and it was awful i felt so ill  and its not a nce way to start labour off

i like the name Lewis :T

i do swaddle my lill baba who still has no name lol it makes them feel comfy and secure just like there back in the wonb again and its more likely to settle them,

Personally, I think it depends on the baby. My firstborn was all 'twitchy' and kept waking himself up when he jerked his arms in his sleep. He responded really well to being swaddled.

The latest addition didn't seem to like being swaddled at all and is just calmer in general.

just a lill tip as well which will make labour a lill easier and it sounds strange but a midwife told me this years ago is when your pushing push from your bottom like your having a pooh not your vagina dont ask me why lol but it works, first time i was trying to push through my vagina and wasnt getting anywhere i know it sounds crude lol but it works a treat
    It`s getting to the point

lol thanks for that dollop. Anyway I'm still here with the cramps but nothing major really, might just try and seduce OH see if that works!! I eventually got a midwife on another number I got from the Dr's surgery. She said it could be baby settling into head down position??? Its been head down for about the last three weeks.

Emma - I know how you feel. Its the waiting in the last couple of weeks thats the hardest. It will happen tho!! It has to come out eventually.
They took my signature away!!!!

Funnily enough my friend said exactly the same thing to me yesterday. Not that I am pregnant but was just asking about her experiences. She tried pushing from the vagina and nothing happened, she then pushed like she was having a poo and the baby literally flew out! EUW!!!! TMI I know but these things are worth knowing I guess. Good luck to us all :rotfl:

As for me, no point in testing in a few days, the decorators have arrived early

to be honest with the show thing it can vary,i had a slight show 2 weeks before mine was born but diddnt have another show till arrival was imminent, she could deliver tonight perhaps tommorow maybe longer,i think the most important sign is the waters going as im pretty sure then you have to be delievered within a certain time hope this helps xxx

As Dollop said, it could be any time. Could be tonight, could be another week or even more!

With DS1, a show was my first sign of labour (my waters went 10 mins later); with DS2, I didn't get the show until I was about to push the baby out!

Good luck to your SIL - how exciting! :) (My DS2 was due tomorrow :D)
