Congratulations Casper :) Does anyone want to ask their DS what they think I'm having? :p My scan is a week away and I'm going crazy with impatience.

I am halfway too, which is bloody scary, OH and I finally plucked up the courage to read a bit of a baby book yesterday, first few weeks etc, it had me in tears, am I really doing this? :o

My bump is definitely prominent now, no mistaking it, I can't help trying to suck it in though... which gets me nowhere

Can anyone help me on a quest? I had my GTT yesterday. It was a nightmare but I think I finally recovered but afterwards saw my midwife. I was less than encouraged, she said my 28 week bump was measuring 30! She did admit I grow them big (last one was 9lb 11.).

Quest is were to get clothes. I am fed up as mine are now getting tight. Before I was 18-20 depending on make. Now I can't even get into a mothercare 20 even if I wanted to! Any suggestions for the larger person e.g. 46DD now at 28 weeks.

Have tried ;-ebay, marks, dorothy perkins (O/S on anything over an 18), littlewoods online, H&M, la redoute, yumsie mumsie, blooming marvellous and anywhere else I can think of!

    Hi Ellat
Simplybe seem to do bigger sizes but not particularly cheap but might b worth investing in a couple of pairs of trousers maybe
    http://simplybeuk.drct2u.com/productcache/DAL/productwindow/11071745-primary-1.html.gz
Could also try this but once again not that cheap

Simply Be do maternity there's also a site called http://www.plussizematernitywear.co.uk/shop/

places like Bumps maternity have a few plus size items but not many

if you do a google search for plus size maternity you'll get various small places too - hope you find something that makes you feel gorgeous!

I'm really happy with the clothes from SimplyBe. I bought the blue/white print dress (in Scruffy's link) which I'm going to wear over jeans in the summer. HotUKDeals have quite a few discount codes and also use Quidco for cashback!

Is GTT the glucose test? I have to have mine in July. Is it really that horrible?!

yes, my hospital seem quite set. You have to drink the lucozade in ten minutes, you can't leave the department etc. Worse, I dropped my book in the car and ended up reading Hello etc while watching Phil Schofield. There were 8 of us in the room so it soom warmed up and two blood tests weren't good either (deep veins!) but it could have been worse!

The woman opposite didn't listen and spent an hour drinking hers. Shes back next thursday to repeat the test.!

I ended up with a migraine and feeling yuck! My MW called in the afternoon and said upsetting bs's does trigger migraines. (Knew that 10 years ago but kept quiet as I just wanted her to go away) No results for a week either.

Many thanks for the info. Off to expand my wardrobe now.

    Hi all

    Hope everyone's keeping well?

Quick question if no-one minds... I've been getting cramp in my calfs for a while now with my morning stretch but it's now at the stage where Wednesday and Thursday night I was woken up in agony with it thinking my calf muscle would snap or something and having to stand on the cold wooden floor to relieve it, and now Friday and last night (Saturday) I woke up with all I can presume to be as the same cramp in my lower back. So bad it makes me feel sick and like I want to pass out with the pain.

I know cramps are part and parcel of pregnany (I'm about 28 weeks now) but this is truely awful. Does anyone know what I can do / add to my diet / etc to reduce the power of the cramps?

It's getting to the stage now where I'm pooped and ratty after just 4 nights of it, and I'm starting to feel pants about going to bed, knowing I'm going to be woken up in pain
