how much bleeding do you get with implantation bleeding. is it like a light period or just a few spots of blood. Thanks

It was literally a bit pink when I wiped after going to the toilet a couple of times, but everyone is different!

I've been referred for obstretric physio because of my painiful hips. I've had a letter through from them inviting me to a class they run for this type of issue. Has anyone been to one of these classes? What are they like? I don't see how a class is going to tell me what is wrong with hips, when the doctor wasn't even sure it was pregnancy related?

Its also 2 weeks away which means surviving another 2 weeks in pain because the painkillers make me sick and the doctor or MW can't recommend anything else.

Sorry for the moan feeling very fed up with the whole pregnancy thing :(

Welshlassie, I'd really recommend you try a kinesiologist. They work with muscles rather than bones like an osteopath/chiropracter, and it's all very gentle stuff. I've been seeing one for the last year mainly due to stomach probs (she's a holistic therapist specialising in kinesiology) and it's worked wonders on my various joint pains, which tend to be due to the muscles being out of alignment so they get "rebalanced". Mine's based in Newport, which may be a few more miles than you want to travel from Cardiff if there's one more local, but let me know if you want any more info!

She's also been helping me in the TTC stakes (not in that way! ) by working out what needed to be corrected following so many years using contraceptives.

Oh, and have to agree with Agutka, when you're TTC, every month feels like the month! :rotfl: I feel nauseous every month about 5 days before I'm due so that doesn't help. This month my, erm, pointy bits are a lot more tender than normal, so fingers crossed...twill be a miracle if anything comes of it, since myself and hubby have spent the last few weeks having various ailments and both had separate trips to casualty (me ending up with some plastic surgery after my incident!). It's a bit of a saga, but we've now come to the conclusion we need to stop rushing about so much and rest more

doormouse - dont worry too much yet about position of the baby they will prob turn around a fair bit for a while yet. I have to be honest, i loved the comfy sofa sitting lol and didnt do anything to get the baby the right way and she did it all by herself :) If in the last few weeks your midwife starts to comment about the position, then get a gym ball/birthing ball and enjoy bouncing on it :)

im dreading today, im having 3 lots of blood taken but as the people at my doctors surgery couldnt do it we are having to go to the maternity ward to have it done,
my veins are unco-operative :D and last pregnancy when the doc tried to take 2 lots i all but passed out.... so im not looking forward to this torture!

    **POSSIBLE TMI** ;)
while im having a moan, is there any of you girls suffering with this 'cant drink sickness' ive got no nausea at all anymore (that left me at about 12 weeks thank gawd) but i cant drink anything but water past..say.... 7 pm or it all comes back, i dont mind putting up with the being sick thing really.... but its so acidic,
litterally to the point last night that it burnt my throat, nose AND my eyes!
it seems to be all liquid (no matter when i last ate) and it HURTS!

poor me, come commiserate... (bring chocolate)

Curious George, it sounds more like acid reflux than sickness - have you tried gaviscon? Poor you.....I've got jaffa cakes if you want a couple!

Hope the blood tests go okay, I've got veins that are difficult to find too, and I know how horrible it is, but the last nurse I went to was fab, she found one straight away. Hope yours is the same. Funny how we don't flinch at the thought of pushing a baby out of our nether regions, but yet we're terrified of a tiny needle isn't it lol!

Oh dear, a lady from my antenatal class broke down in tears last night as we were discussing PND and apparently she had a still birth a few years back at 25 weeks. It was heartbreaking but its brought lots of fears to the surface for me. Having only just become settled in this pregnancy at 22 weeks (after a m/c at 10 weeks last year) I can't help thinking about all the things that can go wrong from now on.

    HELP! x
