Thanks ladies. And Rose I know how stressful this is, I have had this happen to me before. Try to get as much rest as possible, as bleeding in early pregnancy is common, and the majority of times stops. Sending you lots of loves and hugs x0

Congratulations lilmrsmullen.
Rose, difficult as it is to do, try to just stay calm and relaxed until your scan. Reading various baby boards it seems fairly common and lots of people go onto have a healthy baby. My OH's philosophy is why worry about something that you have no control over. While I can't be as calm as that I do sort of see his point.
If you can use today as an excuse to put your feet up and best of luck tomorrow!0 -
Rose: I had some bleeding when I was about 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks and after already having had a miscarriage I was panicing!! I had a couple of days rest and baby held on in there. Sometimes its your bodys way of getting you to chill out and rest up for a bit, its busy and doesn't need you running about like a mad thing!!
Sending you lots of hugs and I'm here if you need a chat feel free to PM me.:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Dormouse and Claire Jones you must be so excited/nervous. I cant imagine being near EDD although i feel like i have been pg forever.
Its getting very scary but also really exciting. I now really want to know what variety the baby is!! Maybe its the shopping instinct in me!!!:p
WARNING POSSIBLE TMI QUESTION::eek:
Although as stupid as this sounds I'm not sure if my waters have broken or not, on Monday i was talking on the phone to my dad (of all people!!) and got a pain/twinge in my lady bits and then trickles of liquid running down my leg. I just dismissed it as my bladder releasing a bit of urine because of the pain but I was talking to my Mum last night and she only ever had a trickle with me & my sister and that sometimes thats it it is! I was expecting a bit more liquid (not as bad as niagra falls but you get what I mean!!). I've got a midwife appointment this afternoon so will ask her if they can check my waters etc but should I have called the midwife on Monday? It seems stupid to bother them but Mum has paniced me a bit cos if my waters have gone then baby isn't protected from germs etc anymore:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

It is possible that you lost your fore waters (is that the name?) so only the bit between baby's head and your membranes. We were told to tell hospital about any incidents like this, so they can monitor you and find out what it actually was. Well, doesn't matter now, as you're seeing the midwife anyway, and it's only been two days. If it was your waters though, good luck with the birth, I've heard one follows the other...:wall:0 -
I have my nuchal scan later today and am terrified that they will find a problem.
I have a history of ovarian cysts and have been feeling right hand side pain for several days. It even feels like there is something there when I feel my tummy when I have a full bladder, but is that just my bladder ?!
I had a scan 2 weeks ago when I went for an appt with my consultant and they said the baby looked fine, but I have no idea how thouroughly they check your ovaries etc.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of on/off pain ?
Wish me luck !

I don't have any ovarian cysts but I got the most strangest pains. I went to the GP and was reffered for an early scan as I was worried and had history of M/C but all was well.
I still right sided stabbing pains when I move funny, laugh, cough, sneeze so bad it catches my breath.
Period pains on and off.
Weird pressure pain when I wee.
So obiviously I don't if this what you are getting but its suprsisingly common all these wierd and wonderful pains ( If not very disconcerting) Really HTH
Hope the scan goes well ... Enjoy I have mine Monday :T

thanks everyone unfortunatley i misscarried last night during the night and the only way i can still be pregnant is if i was carrying twins. Im still booked in for the scan tomorrow as they need to know if my misscarriage was a complete one.. wasnt a pleasant experience sitting on the toilet knowing what was happening but these things happen for a reason and mabey it just wasnt our time yet.. as this wasnt a planned pregnancy and i didnt want another one i have decided to try again because i had got used to the idea of having another child.
Only down side of this is telling my daughter who will be upset..
Thanks all will post back to morrow when ive had the scan
RoseThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0
