Ooh, 28th Feb? You could end up with a leap year baby on 29th Feb! (Very MSE as could claim you only need to buy presents every 4 years )

aS LONG AS THE BABY IS HEALTHY I DON'T REALLY MIND WHEN IT COMES, but would prefer not to have a leap year baby.

Woke up this morning and suddenly realised 10 weeks to go and haven't even started thinking of names... so many to choose but suppose I had better think about it soon.

Nope but suppose I had better draw up a list for each cos haven't found out what I'm having either.

Bit weird though because just been given a whole black bag of clothes from a friends sister which includes a mixture of neutral and girls things and right at the beginning of my pregnancy the only two names that came to mind were Emily Louisa.

Better start having a natter with my other half me thinks soon !!

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who replied to my message you all helped me to feel like its normal and not to panic too much, I have taken the dr's advice and taken today off work to, so that I can just rest. I also remembered the midwife said there is another surge of horm0ones in the 8th week so I'm thinking that that is part of the reason why I feel so weird at the moment, and not having had much in the way of sickness, I've had it pretty easy so far and maybe this is how it wil affect me?

Hi everyone, am just adding myself to the list. I did post last week on another thread as I had done a home test that was positive and was worrying that I had been drinking alcohol regularly not knowing but some of you lovely folk told me not to worry etc

Anyway the doctors finally confirmed yesterday morning that I was pregnant, got me in an early scan today as I had been bleeding a bit but low and behold everything OK and I am 8 weeks pregnant!!!!!!! I didn't have a clue until I started feeling 'different' about a week ago (came off the pill in March and not had a proper period)!

Now the scarey bit, not been around babies much in my life and don't have a clue about a lot of stuff!

Congratulations x Hope you are feeling okay. I didn't know I was pg either and I was smoking and drinking like a trooper!!! Ooops - Its all stopped now but I am sure that as it was a bunch of cells that a malboro light and malibu wouldn't have done it too much harm ( not as much harm as its doing to me with the sickness, bad back and sore boobs, ha ha).
