aw congrats Welshlassie :T :T :T Glad to hear you're ok and finally have your baby.
Newleafer - being flippant I'd say 'congratulations and welcome to being pregnant!' but I know how worrying it all is in the first months - it sounds like perfectly normal pregnancy stuff to me though but it's good that they're checking for a UTI. As has been said listen to your body and rest when you need to. I had a particularly bad first 6 months with fatigue and basically just ate (when I could manage to eat anything) and slept. I lost loads of weight and only ate very basic carbs (toast, toast and more toast mainly) but baby was spot on all his milestones the whole way through and is thriving. The upside is my OH lost a stone and half cos I wasn't cooking anything and he was having to fend for himself :rotfl: We all worry and all think the worst when there are odd pains etc but most are just stretching and the uterus getting into place so try not to worry too much :grouphug:0 -

Welshlassie - Whoo-hoo! Congratulations on getting there in the end, hope you're both fabulous.
becky_sleaf - lovely isn't it? I came here when I had my first 'incident', but was told it was all normal and it's only happened on two more occasions. So no, you're not a milk factory yet.
newleafer - I agree with Justie on this one. Those beginning weeks are full of unexplained pains and sensations. And it doesn't stop. At my appointments I turned up with huge lists of symptoms, just to be told it was all normal . So now I say nothing, there's no point. The TOTAL lack of energy is normal, as is loss of appetite (ahh, those toast months - haven't had a single piece since...) and constant weird pains. If there was bleeding I'd be more worried, but of course you're checking like mad, another perfectly normal habit. Do take time to relax and sleep and rest.:wall:0 -
