Thank you. That's why I'm on here all the time now. Anything to try and find ways of making or saving any money. The dad isn't around so I'm becoming a bit frantic at the moment0

Hello everyone....
Am now 8 days overdue... went to midwife for sweep to be told baby is only 3/5ths engaged and cervix is closed not at all favourable.
I was hoping for a home birth but now have been told I am booked into an induction on Saturday night... really disappointed.
Anyone know of ways to encourage baby to descend?? Have been bouncing on the birth ball, but couldn't walk afterwards... how annoying.
Would have been out walking, but its been raining for the last 4 hours... lovely.
Seems like I've been waiting to meet my baby forever, last week crawled by and I was really hoping a sweep would help to get things going... but nothing doing. Just hope baby puts in an appearance before having to be induced.
Oh well.

Not sure if you are all aware that Peacocks have a got a maternity range, in my local store it's not that big but reasonably priced!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
I just bought some maternity jeans off ebay for £4.99 a couple of months back and they are still lasting me. I then just bought some of the floaty tops that seem to be in fashion atm. At least I'll be able to wear them after baby is here too.
2 months to go seems like forever!0 -
