    hi Emma

Whats a 4D scan  i'm 8 weeks & when i had my 1st (DD now 10) there was nothing so fancy!!

As for monitors my OH suggested we put a mini webcam up in the corner of the nursery :o i nearly cried it was such a lovely idea (hormones again!) & as we always have a pc on somewhere it makes perfect sense :D

Not very MSE but bosieboo video monitor is the one we decided on. It won a few awards with the baby mag awards... it cost about £119 :o But was bought for us by MIL.

just wandered - when did you do the washing of baby clothes? and do you / did you wash bedding and towels etc?
im 33 weeks and mum keeps saying get it done
I'm 35 weeks and have been itching to wash everything for a while now, so now I've finally done it now that the weather has been nice. :j

I've washed all the new baby clothes, all the old ones we've kept from DS (I say 'old' but they look brand-new - that's how little wear he got ot of them , even though they were clean but I just wanted to freshen them up), plus a few bits my SIL has given me. I've also done all his bedding and towels as well.

I know some people are not bothered about it, but I always wash stuff before wearing, even for myself, let alone for a newborn!

Anyhoo, it's all lovely and clean and nice-smelling now and I've just put it away in the baby's chest of drawers. Small pleasures :p

Emma B Hiya - I have just got back from my friends house and we were just talking about these and she has just bought this for her baby CLICK - She used an ebay seller thats is selling them refurbished but I could not see them when I just looked. This baby monitor plays music and tells you the temp of the room.

    Hiya

Yeah it arrived last week - I saw it today and it looks brand new. Smells brand new. It looks quite fancy. She is really chuffed. Her friend also has the refurb one and it comes with a 6 month gaurantee.

Just thinking about Eels who will have met her baby by now! :D I'm not jealous...not one little bit...honest! ;)

Emma, I have put a baby wash on everytime the sun has come out! We were given 6 tiny Grobag thingys last week and they looked so cute on the line today that I had a little tear in my eye! :o

Loopy, I'm sure you will be tempted to have a 4D scan once you watch Emma's clip! And Welshlassie has her baby pic as her avatar. We had ours at 28 weeks and it was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.

Re baby monitors, we got the angel care one for piece of mind, an alarm sounds if baby stops breathing. was about £60 in 2003! Used it till she was out of the cot, very reliable. Going to use again for ds when he arrives!
