  • Eels - good luck! you wont need it though, your going to be fine! ;)
cant wait to hear your news!
    and you welshlassie!! :D

i cant imagine knowing exactly when your going to meet your baby  it must be weird, but kind of comforting in a way!
and eels - if your still at home, dont let your family boss you about! get DH to tell them to come the week after if thats what you want!
i know i would hate to spend our first day at home with everyone there...
just remember this tip that got me through the mental times with DD
the phone can always be switched off and the door doesnt have to be answered just because there is someone knocking!
you are under no contract to entertain! (i know i posted it here recently, but its good enough to repeat!)

on a side note.... can you die of heartburn?
    blergh.

Has anybody got any good ideas for boys names they wouldn't mind sharing? We love Katie or Rose for a girl but we are struggling for a boy!! Inspiration is definitely needed!!

top of our list are: Isaac (Zac) and Jonah (Joe)- we also have Ben, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Joshua, Seth (sorry they're all very Old Testament :o ) it's taken us ages to agree on a list though and we've still not decided as we'll wait to see what he looks like - and if he turns out to be a girl we're stuffed as we've no names :rotfl:

Good luck Eels, even though you're probably already off to the hospital. :j Sitting here with a tear in my eye - stupid hormones. :o

I know what it's like worrying about all the changes the baby is going to bring, but my honest opinion is that if you have a good relationship with your OH to begin with, it's only going to get better - despite the sleepless nights and puke on clothes :rotfl:

And Welshlassie - hoping for more twinges for you! :)

I'm 35 weeks today and my nesting instinct has kicked in big time. Well, actually I'm not convinced whether it is an instinct or just a blind panic. :rotfl:

Hmm a birth pool sounds great.... I was talking to some friends who live in Canada and they didn't really have the concept of home births and birth pools so they bought a paddling pool with a jacuzzi attachment!! The pool had fishes and mermaids all over it!!! Plus even more bizarre some american friends who live in St Louis told us the state banned midwives... you have to have a consultant at the birth!!! Can you imagine??

Hey ladies, hope yous are all having a fab day :D . Its sooo hot here in sunny glasgow, lovely day outside.

Good luck Eels, ohhh so exciting!! :j

Im just on for a little moan girlies, just found out my work mate is 6 weeks pregnant. Im soo happy for her on the outside but very jealous on the inside. :o

Myself and Mr Pink have been TTC for months now and as its only myself, my boss and my workmate in our office, im dreading the upcoming months of the pregancy talk ect. She has already started asking about baby names. Im not a nasty person at all and im very happy for her and her hubby. Just a wee bit green with envy.
I honestly am very happy and excited for the both of them, but now im worried what she will think when (if) i fall pregnant. Mr Pink thinks its a good thing and that if we are both pregnant at the same time as we can talk about our fears ect ect. Anyone experienced anything similar?

    Thanks for listening people.

yes, happily for my workmate, but sadly for me. i teach and in the past 6 months 6 of my work mates have gone off to have babies. I so want to be pregnant. I am so happy for them, but at the same time, i wish it was me, but i know my time will come eventually. Plus i do get to go baby gaga with everyone at work. and have a legitimate excuse to discuss baby names, and read baby mags until me hearts content with my mates at work.
