Dogs on settees?

            Yep, we had a no dogs on the sofa rule too. Had.....Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

            My lab cross knows he is only allowed on settees that have fleece throws on them, although it took a long time for him to get it! So we have a corner settee, and one half of it has a throw, so he can lie on it.
 He does have the odd rebellious moment, when he lies on uncovered furniture though, and being the vomit- monster he is, he did make his mark on the settee not long after we bought it.
 I don't see the point in having a settee if you don't have a dog snuggling on it with you!0

            Our two are not allowed on the sofas or upstairs.
 They have their own huge beanbag that I can wash the cover, another huge bed in the kitchen and another two beds in the utulity room where they like to sleep when it is hot.0
