Problem is with Bob he ends up stretched out as far as physically possible whilst I'm huddled up at the far end of the sofa!0 -

are you sure he doesn't think he's a cat?
:D:D Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

Our dogs don't get allowed on our sofa or chairs, they have their own doggie beds - although being greyhounds they just sprawl out of their beds and across the living room carpet for optimum stretchability!0

I think you're all way to soft, there's no need for dogs to be on settees.

My sister used to have a white shepherd he was so big that we usually ended up sitting on the floor as Louie looked so comfy on the couch and we didn't have the heart to move him
.
My lot have always been allowed on the furniture, a couple of them have even chanced their luck on tables

They're not so happy when we try to invade their space though

If I had a giant breed, I'd probably buy it its own orthopaedic mattress!
My 60Kg Pyrenean had his back leg amputated soon ofter I got rid of the sofa to buy myself a recliner. He was so unhappy I had to buy him another sofa (second hand ), his dog bed just didn't hack it!0 -

Lol, that made me laugh. Bob can't reach the table, but when we were on holiday in a caravan he could walk all around the sofa to the table. Sadly the prize was still inches out of reach...:D
