Hi MUNT, sorry I didn't explain myself at all well.

The texts and contacts lost were the ones on the 02 sim card from my old phone, I assumed they would still be on the sim when I put it into the Lobby???

Nope reset didn't work . I have called them up and spoke to a girl that told me to do reset ,i had already done it but did it again and still it says i need to update my subscription.So i am waiting for someone from Virgin to call me back.

In that case, the contacts and texts on your old phone will have been saved to the phone memory, not the sim. Stick the sim card back into your old phone and copy the contacts to the sim. Not sure how you'd get the text messages on there, to be honest.

Thanks for that. I spent an hour on the phone to Vodafone CS yesterday and they insisted they don't sell smartphones and hadn't even heard of HTC. Heh - I forgot I had the phone set to record calls. Was funny listening back on the conversation after.
