OH has just taken the car to go and buy new car mats for it!!! :D

It's 7 years newer than the one that died. In the lower road tax bracket and should be slightly more economical on petrol, it's also about £2 cheaper a month on insurance ;)

Hi all just popped on to say a quick hello and catch up with everybodies news.

Boltonbwfc and Katchambers: Welcome to the club!!

Dr J: Congrats on receiving some acceptance letters I bet that was a relief.

IDA: Sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the mo. Hope that things calm down for you soon.

Newlywed: Excellent news about your car.

I emailed CCCS yesterday and they have said that Capital One have accepted which I didn't know about. So i think thats two that have accepted outright, one transfered to a DCA, one being transfered to the DCA and one that said that they would accept if payments were received by the 15th of the month so I don't know whats happening there.

So fingers crossed all will be sorted soon.

Hope everyone has a good day. I'm of to have a cup of tea and a doughnut now!!- Sweety

Thanks yeah you could say that!!! Here's hoping it's not a money pit ;)

Should now save us £150 a month though - so even with the exhaust and any other repairs, we'll gain in just a few months!

So glad to see the back of buses, taxis and sainsbury to you (if and when they feel like it)!! Sick of late taxis, long packed bus journeys, getting up early and home late! Had an extra 45 mins this morning - was quite at a loss what to do! :D

We can pick the kids up now without a taxi and without HER moaning about having to drop them off (we usually split so it's half and half and she's only been dropping them off once more than usual because of our lack of car so not a huge hardship). This week she say's she's not dropping them to us at all ever again and if we want to see them we have to arrange to get them - even though she actually drives along our road on her way out when she drops them off

    Hi

Having just got up I have recieved a letter from Argos. They have not been in contact with me at all so i opened with trepidation only to discover my statement. Anyway looked at it and instead of the usual 25% interest the interest for next month is 0% :j

Looks like they have stopped the interest for the time being and what i am paying off each month is actually bringing my balance down. Nice to see.

    hope you are all well
